Rod Stewart & Family: A London Arrival
| Jan 12, 2012 by KIRSTIN MIRTICH |
Do You Think I'm Sexy singer Rod Stewart - who recently celebrated his 67th birthday - and family were snapped arriving at London's Heathrow Airport on a flight from Miami, Florida on Thursday (January 12).
Mama Penny Lancaster-Stewart pushed sweet Aiden, 10 months, in the stroller as big brother Alastair, 6, walked closely by his mom and dad as the family made their way through the airport.
It seems the raspy-voiced British singer wants to be a policeman for a day!
The singer recently bid $18,000 for the prize at the Palm Beach Policeman's Ball at Donald Trump's exclusive Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. His prestigious prize-package includes a trip to the local jail, a helicopter ride and lunch with the county sheriff as well as meetings with detectives and members of the elite SWAT team.
The annual event raises money to pay for college scholarships for the kids of Palm Beach police.
"Mr Stewart has been extraordinarily generous," a spokesman says. "It's just marvellous."
