David Beckham To Stay With Galaxy For Family

David Beckham is staying put in America with Victoria Beckham and their children, Romeo, 9, Cruz, 6, Brooklyn, 12, and 6-month-old Harper. The soccer star has extended his contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy for another two years. In recent weeks he was being courted by other clubs, especially by Paris-St. Germain. But the lure of staying with his family has been a priority.

“I’ve seen first hand how popular soccer is now in the States and I’m as committed as ever to growing the game here,” Beckham said. “My family and I are incredibly happy and settled in America and we look forward to spending many more years here.”

He added, “This was an important decision for me. I had many offers from clubs from around the world, however, I’m still passionate about playing in America and winning trophies with the Galaxy.”

Good news for the United States and fans of his bodywear line!

Good for them. Victoria has expressed how much she loves it in America and I’m sure the kids are settled in their schools and don’t want to leave their friends.

The beckhams are seen as like royalty in england but the paparazzi laws there are way stricter. David has said that one thing he really likes about here is that celebrities are common and that his kids are treated the same as any other kids. In England, other kids ask for their autographs and stuff. Doesn’t happen in LA or at their school.
