Matthew Broderick & His Adventurous Schoolboy

It was Matthew Broderick's turn to take James Wilkie to school on Thursday morning (January 19). The pair were bundled up in puffy jackets for the chilly New York City weather. James sported an Adventure Time hat for the trip out.

The actor was attentive and listened closely as James chatted away.

Two days ago it was Sarah Jessica Parker who took their 9-year-old to school. In an interview with the UK Telegraph last year, she talked honestly about their marriage.

"We've been together for 20 years and you have good days, you have decent days, and you have bad days. That's a marriage. That's a relationship. That's a friendship, even — relationships outside the marriage run the same course. If you're in it for the long haul and you want meaningful relationships, you are going to go through lots of different periods."
