Sandra Bullock's Preschool Pickup

Blind Side star Sandra Bullock was all smiles as she picked up her 2-year-old son Louis from preschool in Los Angeles, Calif. today (January 26). The Academy Award-winning actress toted her adorable tot, along with his lunch kit, as they headed back to the car.

Sandy B's latest flick, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, joins a small group of dramatic films based on the events of September 11, 2001. The film, which costars none other than Tom Hanks, was just nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

The hands-on mom recently opened up about filming the emotional movie.

“Going through life, you see something happen and you just go, ‘I need to reach out and let everyone that I love know how much I love them,'" Sandra said. “Unfortunately it always takes something big to remind us to do that. This movie will remind people over and over and over again to just embrace and love and take care and appreciate what we have.”
