Ava Sambora Keeps Her Cheer Up

Teen model Ava Sambora - daughter of Melrose Place alum Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora - donned her Viewpoint Patriots cheerleader uniform today (January 31) as she spent time with her boyfriend and girlfriend after school at the Commons in Calabasas, Calif.

The beautiful young woman - who is the spitting image of her mother - and her pal grabbed a bite to eat at Pick Up Stix and appeared to be in good spirits despite her dad reportedly threatening to take her mother to court if she doesn't seek help after her recent hospital admittance scare.

Accordingly to Us Weekly, Heather's private emotional suffering was put on blast when she was rushed to the Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on January 12 because Heather's sister was reportedly scared the television star had overdosed on a combination of alcohol and prescription pills.

"Heather has been out of control for many years," a source shares. "Her drinking has caused her to fall out of many friendships."

Heather's problems got worse when she and her boyfriend of four years Jack Wagner called off their engagement in November.

"She doesn't get out of bed most days," the source adds. "Jack kept her on the straight and narrow, but he couldn't keep Heather sober."

Although the 52-yearold "begged her to go to rehab," it wasn't until after their breakup that Heather "entered a treatment program, which her family was able to keep quiet."
