Beyoncé & Baby Blue: Staying Grounded
| Feb 12, 2012 by JODINE KELLER |

New parents, Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z, have been the talk of the town for weeks since the birth of their baby girl, Blue Ivy, born on January 7. They surprised the world on Friday (February 10) by posting the first public photos of the already-famous babe on a new Tumblr site.
Us Weekly caught up with a pal of Sasha Fierce, celebrity artist June Ambrose, on Saturday and chatted about the introduction of baby Blue. "B really really thought about this," Ambrose shares. "And she really wanted to do it this way."
Had the all-star duo sold the pics of their newest family member, they would have earned a pretty penny for the exclusive rights. "She just couldn't imagine selling pictures of her baby. It just felt really good to see her do it under her terms.”
The proud parents are stepping into their new role together with ease. "They're great. They were so good, before having this baby, when they were with children. I never thought for once it would be difficult. They're grounded."

I'm not a fan of hers but I have to say, the way they released the pics of this kid is great. They managed to do it on their terms and at the same time screw over the media in a way because there was such a high price (like a bounty!) placed on someone getting this baby's first picture and now that price is down because the media has clear, candid, up close photos and everyone knows what the baby looks like. Instead of paparazzi getting a million bucks for that first candid shot, they would get significantly less AND she didn't exploit her child by selling her photos to People or US.
Hello. And Bye.
I love Beyonce and JayZ. They are gonna be good parents. The little girl is gonna be so spoiled and a daddy's girl. Beyonce, you have not seen nothing yet Sister. I feel for you. Love you and your family. Peace and blessings!
