Larry King & Cannon: Father-Son Day In Beverly Hills

Larry King and son Cannon, 11, spent some quality time together in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday (February 9). The father-son duo ran a few errands and then took a walk before stopping at a pastry shop to grab some snacks.

On Saturday (February 11) King shared his thoughts on the death of singer Whitney Houston, speaking from Clive Davis' Grammy Party where Houston had been scheduled to perform.

"It's semi-festive and..surreal," King told CNN, from inside the party at the Beverly Hilton. "I've never been at a party like this. Her remains are still in this hotel. They haven't removed them yet. The police are here. Crowds are outside. The room is packed. The show's about to start. Tony Bennett is set to sing a special tribute to her."

King compared Houston to the tragic singer Judy Garland, and said it was "sad, sad, sad" that the talented singer had died so young.
