M.I.A. & Ikhyd Take Off

Singer M.I.A. was spotted arriving at the Barbados' International Airport with her 3-year-old son Ikhyd in tow this week (February 10). This is our first glimpse of the 'Paper Planes' singer's son since last summer.

The pair were also joined by Ikhyd's dad Benjamin Brewer. It was reported earlier this month that the couple recently split and M.I.A. has relocated to London while her ex and son remain in California. She "sometimes goes six weeks without seeing" her preschooler, according to an insider.

Meanwhile, the fallout from M.I.A.'s middle finger stunt at this year's Superbowl halftime show continues. Nicki Minaj, who also performed in the show that Madonna headlined, said the headline-stealing gesture was "disappointing," adding, "I love M.I.A. and I don't want to say anything that is the wrong thing, but me personally, I couldn't see myself doing it, just for the respect for Madonna. I wouldn't want any backlash to come back on Madonna."
