Sarah Michelle Gellar: Freddie Prinze, Jr. Loves Being A Stay-At-Home Dad

Freddie Prinze, Jr. is getting plenty of one-on-one time with his adorable 2-year-old daughter Charlotte now that wife Sarah Michelle Gellar is shooting her new TV series Ringer.

He loves it. We fight over who gets to stay home," SMG told Us Weekly of her stay-at-home husband. "You'd think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, 'No, I'll go to work!' but he's like, 'You stayed home for two years! It's my turn!'"

Carousel Designs and the Buffy alum hosted a baby shower for 40 military moms-to-be during the PGA TOUR’s 2012 Northern Trust Open.

"He and Charlotte have too much fun," added Gellar, who was partnering with Operation Shower and Pottery Barn Kids in Pacific Palisades, Calif. on Wednesday to support military moms. "I'm jealous!"

The 34-year-old Buffy alum admitted that it can "be really difficult" balancing her career with motherhood. "It's hard to see Charlotte's little face when you say you have to go to work. It's sad!" Gellar said. "But you make time for everything. You work it out."
