Sally Obermeder & Her Bondi Beach Babe

Australian journalist Sally Obermeder took her 4-month-old daughter Annabelle Grace to meet up with Larry Emdur at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday (February 22). Sally - an entertainment reporter for Today Tonight - is undergoing chemotherapy for stage 3 breast cancer. The 38-year-old new mom was diagnosed the day before she gave birth.

She recently told WHO, “I’m so blessed that I had Annabelle—she gives me so much joy and happiness, but she also gives me a reason to fight with everything I’ve got, every day. I can’t let it beat me, I have to fight really hard, because the most important thing is that I’m actually here for her in her life.”

Last month Obermeder - who credits her stockbroker husband Marcus for his "amazing" support - was hospitalized due to an infection and was told she will have to go through three extra months of chemotherapy.

However the illness is not stopping her from working on a tell-all memoir. She insists she will be "writing every word herself". The book is due to be released in November.

Recently Obermeder and her daughter were captured in a portrait photograph by Anne Geddes. She says of the picture, "I can’t explain how touched I am by Anne’s gift. It’s just so incredibly special.”
