It looks like Charlie O’Connell, 36, got to spend some quality time with his 3-year-old twin nieces – and his parents – over the weekend.
The Dude, Where’s My Car? actor was spotted strolling hand-in-hand with his gorgeous niece Dolly – who was a pretty princess in pink today – in West Hollywood, Calif. on Sunday (March 4) while her sweet sister Charlie – who just so happens to be the namesake of her doting uncle – opted for a push from grandpa in the stroller. And with their girls well taken care of for the afternoon, it seems papa Jerry O’Connell and mama Rebecca Romijn may have enjoyed some quality time of their own.
Rebecca, 39, recently graced the March cover of Fitness magazine and opened up about her struggles to lose the pesky post-baby pounds after the birth of her twin daughter in December 2008.
“Losing that weight was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” she admits. “Everything I did before I got pregnant — like Pilates, which I had done for about 14 years — didn’t work anymore. I had to change the way I worked out, the way I ate– everything.”
“At first the idea of doing a 90-minute workout in a 105-degree room sounded like torture,” she continues. “But the sweating is exactly what I became addicted to. My body changed dramatically almost immediately. I’m stronger, I have more energy and I feel better, too. I was proud to get back into a bikini!”
Eating a clean diet was also a challenged for the Sports Illustrated supermodel.
“I went on a major diet about eight months ago,” Rebecca mentions. “I cut out starch, dairy, fat, red meat, alcohol and sugar,” Romijn tells Fitness. “Just being on a diet was weird for me. I had never been on one in my life, and suddenly I was counting calories and measuring my food. Cutting out sugar was definitely the hardest. The first week I thought I was going to die. The cravings were bad. But after that, it was easy.”
