Julianne Moore: “I Don’t Want My Daughter To Be Interested In Jessica Simpson”

Jessica Simpson can cross off “be a role model” from her list of things to do – at least in regards to actress Julianne Moore‘s 9-year-old daughter Liv Helen.

The 51-year-old children’s book author – who is also mom to son Caleb, 14, with her director husband Bart Freundlich – recently graced the March cover of More magazine and opens up about her wishes for her daughter and her new film.

“I don’t want my daughter or her friends to be interested in Jessica Simpson,” Julianne states. ” I want them to be interested in what’s happening in their own lives.”

Julianne will be playing politician Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO film Game Change.

“I was flabbergasted,” the star admits. “I felt the role was as far away from me as I could possibly go. Once I said yes, I went into a full-fledged panic, because I was like, I don’t know where to start.”
