Report: Leah Messer’s Daughter Aliannah “Can Walk” With Assistance

Yay for little Aliannah!

It seems the developmentally delayed 2-year-old daughter of Teen Mom star Leah Messer is beginning to hit some of those important milestones – and catching up to her twin sister Aleeah!

“[Aliannah] can walk when someone stands behind her, holding her hands,” a source close daddy Corey Simms tells the new issue of Us Weekly. “It’s a major step toward walking solo.”

“She wants to be able to run around an play with Aleeah!” the source adds.

Leah, 19, and Corey got married in October 2010 and split 6-months later. Leah recently wed boyfriend Jeremy Calvert, 22, on April 4th.

I have a nephew with CP and it took him until he was almost 3 yrs old before we got him to walk! It was such a wonderful day seeing him take steps since at one point the Dr’s were not sure (but optimistic) if he could walk! Now he’s 7 and he runs all around with his twin brother. He’s still delayed and where’s braces on his feet and legs to keep them straight but he’s done remarkably well. I hope Ali catches up to Aleeah and I’m sure soon enough she will!
