Alicia Silverstone & Her Special Visitor

Alicia Silverstone, 35, received a surprise visitor after a hair appointment at Byron Tracy in Los Angeles, Calif. today (April 25) – her 11-month-old son Bear!

Alicia’s hubby Christopher Jarecki brought the little guy over to visit his mama. It looks like Bear was quite helpful plugging the meter.

Alicia recently defended herself against public attack for feeding her son mouth-to-mouth.

“People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands for years,” she says. “It’s a weaning process.”

“He attacks my mouth and I think it’s adorable,” she adds. “It makes me laugh every time he does it. He also knows how to use his hands and he also eats regular food. When babies are weaning, he still breastfeeds. Some people think that’s disgusting too, which is insane.”

Her hubby is hot, but I cant stand that he wears those cut up tanks! Omg it is so not sexy. Oh well as long as she likes it…but even still!

Agreed! Alicia and her husband both dress like trailer trash.

  • seer

    hmmm… looking pregnant again, methinks…

Huh? What are you talking about?

    • Celia

I agree! I thought that the last pics from Coachella too.

    she dresses like a slob.

A sweatshirt and jeans is a slob? I’d hate to be friends with you.

      • Anonymous

I seriously doubt the other poster really cares if you would hate to be friends with her!

    • Anonymous

The only explanation for that comment is that you have something against this woman, although I can’t imagine what.

Because if you TRULY thought that wearing a sweatshirt and jeans made someone look like a slob, and you just HAD to make a comment that they look like a slob, how come you’re not all over the Neve Campbell thread saying the same thing? She’s dressed in a hoodie and jeans and some kind of Ugg boots.

  • Braelynn

Her hair is so greasy, I wonder if she has her baby just spit in her hair.

  • Mags

Slob? Good god. She’s hanging out in regular jeans and a sweatshirt. That’s not shocking. I don’t buy the image of celebrities in sky-high heels and designer clothes lugging a baby around. What’s never captured in the photos is the nanny and stroller following right alongside.

Anyway, that is just the cutest kid ever.

A SLOB?!!? Wow… apparently you have never had a baby…

    • Anonymous

That is what I was thinking! Some of us can’t afford nannies to watch our kids so we can sleep as long as we want, take more time getting ready, etc. Kids wear you out, (I get on average about 5 hours a sleep a night) and I find myself wearing jeans and sweatshirts a lot; it’s comfy and I like it. Most regular moms don’t go walking around in a dress and high heels like some assume….

Newsflash! Did you know you can be the mom of a baby AND look presentable? Amazing, right? I’m a mom… and even when my kids were babies, I had enough pride in myself to dress decently when I left the house… no matter how exhausted I was. It seems as though Alicia and her husband purposely dress like trailer trash slobs, and I doubt it’s because they are new parents!

This is my opinion and if some of you can’t handle it…. oh well!

haha I love his two different color socks. Shows how normal motherhood can be when you can’t find those damn baby socks! I swear the dryer eats them! 🙂

She is dressed like a slob – and usually is in every picture I’ve seen of her (during her pregnancy and after)! No one is expecting her to wear heels and designer clothes – just clothes that fit, look clean and unwrinkled. I also agree with the other poster who said her hair looks greasy; it often does in photos. If you know paps are going to take pictures of you – at least try and look somewhat presentable.

    • Also Slobby

Gee, you’re right. She should be more considerate of the paps and the public (eye roll).

    • Anonymous

I’m sure she’s devasted that she doesn’t meet YOUR standards.

Are you saying that her clothes don’t fit? And that they’re not clean and are unwrinkled? Because I don’t see that AT ALL. It’s jean and a sweatshirt. What do you want, military creases down her jeans?

Maybe she didn’t CARE that paps are taking photos. She is who she is.

      • Anonymous

Oh calm down already! I’m sorry my opinion differs from yours… NOT! She does look like a slob, and obviously I am not the only one that thinks it.

I think if you’re a celebrity and you KNOW paps will be taking pictures of you… dress like you give a damn and wash your hair! Did I mention military creases in her jeans? No. Did I mention designer clothing? No. There is nothing wrong with having a little pride, even when you’re a mom! It’s not that hard to buy clothes that fit and look clean. Especially when you’re a celebrity!

I’m guessing your appearance isn’t important to you either….

        • Anonymous

No, what you said is that clothes should “fit, look clean and unwrinkled”.

Where are the clothes that don’t fit or look clean or are wrinkled. There is none of that here, so good job talking out your ass.

To those of you saying that she looks like a slob: your argument is that because people are taking pictures of her, then she should be expected to look good. Okay, how about I show up at your house randomly and take YOUR picture and post them on the internet so people can say horrid things about YOU? Alicia’s doing nothing but being out and about with her son, living her life. She (and/or almost any celebrity for that matter) didn’t ask anyone to take her picture, why does that somehow define her life?

I actually applaud her for going out dressed normally and not primping just so that people she doesn’t know will be impressed with her. She’s obviously not a shallow person that would rather go outside and enjoy the day rather than focus on appearances. If that makes her “a slob” then it makes me a slob too, and I know that I would rather be friends with a “slob” than judgmental snobs like you.

I see nothing wrong with her outfit. I’m wearing something very similar in fact because she is wearing a normal, comfortable sweater and jeans! Very popular, not slobby. And also, her son is absolutely adorable.

Rebecca, you’re a breath of fresh air in a room full of hot air. I agree 100% with everything you said, and cannot for the life of me figure out why anyone needs to bash this woman or call her a slob. How is wearing jeans and a sweatshirt dressing like a slob anyway???

The only reason these ‘women’ say things like this is because it makes them feel better about themselves somehow. They can hold there heads up and say, “Well at least I don’t dress like her” as if that somehow makes them a better person.

I would take a person who seems genuinely committed to her beliefs, values and family any day of the week.. over someone who values the appearance of their clothing as such a high priority because they’re so worried about what someone else (mostly complete strangers) might think.

Only comment I have is that her hair certainly does not look done so perhaps she meet up with baby before hair appointment.
