Jada Pinkett-Smith & Willow Bid Farewell To France

After attending the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival in France, Jada Pinkett Smith and her 11-year-old daughter Willow Smith said au revoir on Saturday (May 19) as the pair departed out of Nice Airport together.

It looks like Jada’s eldest child actor-turned-rapper Jaden, 13, is eager to have one of his tracks featured in Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, in which his mom voices Gloria the hippopotamus. Although she was “flattered,” Jada was forced to reject his plea because it came just days before the animated family comedy’s world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France on Friday (May 18).

“They’re much older [now] but I was very, very proud and flattered when my son called me the other day and asked me to make a call to Jeffrey Katzenberg to put one of his songs at the end of Madagascar, not realizing that it’s coming out in two weeks!” Jada reveals on the Today show.

“I was like, ‘Listen, it’s done, it’s over, OK?’ He’s like, ‘I know you can call Jeffrey and get it done mommy, I can put a song on there.’ I’m like, ‘No, baby, you can’t.’ But I was actually really flattered that he thinks it’s still cool,” she adds.

Surprised she can get through customs with that bag… oh wait, she’s famous so it’s OK.

I’ve seen worse than this go through customs. Stop the jealousy, it’s not becoming.

If anything, I feel sorry for her. It must be awful having your childhood snatched away from you.

Her childhood was snatched away… because of the bag she’s carrying?!?!??

I was thinking the same thing but it is in Cannes and not in US perhaps that makes a difference.

    She’s creepy looking.

I rarely say this and I even feel bad for saying it but she just really isn’t an attractive young lady. She just looks so much like Will that she resembles a boy. Maybe it’s the lack of hair. I thought she was a lot cuter with hair. Girlfriend needs to bring it back.

If you know it’s not a nice thing to say then why say it? What purpose did it serve?

You feel bad for saying it, yet you say it anway? Why? Did you think that no one here would sleep tonight unless we heard you insult a child? You really looked at these photos and thought it absolutely imperative that you let everyone know that this kid isn’t good-enough looking for you?

She’ll probably get cuter. I doubt you’ll get any nicer.

It’s my opinion last time I checked being in this country we had the right to freedom of speech. yes I don’t find her attractive for A GIRL. She looks like a boy (very much like Will who I also find unattractive). Sorry are we not allowed to say certain men are not appealing either? Just trying to figure out the rules. Whose to say if she’ll get cuter. Maybe she will. Maybe she won’t. But looking like WILL is not going to change.

Ahhh.. another idiot spouting free speech. You *do* understand that the constitution guarantees that the GOVERNMENT will not impede your right to free speech, right? This website can block anything they want. The other posters here can reply with anything they want. Free speech has NOTHING to do with stupid comments on a web blog.

With that said, you’re still an idiot for putting down a young girl’s physical appearance. You should really look inside yourself to find out why you’re so compelled to shout it from the rooftops.

lets face it some children are just not attractive.
and I agree that both Wills and Jada chidren are pushed into show biz too soon. Michael Jackson was warped because he did not have a childhood.
