Vanessa Lachey Steps Out With Son

New mom Vanessa Lachey stepped out with her baby boy Camden, 7 weeks, in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Sunday (November 4). Joined by the nanny, the Wipeout host was seen pushing her newborn in the stroller after enjoying brunch with pals at Stanley’s restaurant.

“I love everything about being a mom — looking at him and seeing him and hoping and praying that he will be a gentleman and a good man and a supportive friend. All my hopes for him are through the roof,” the former beauty queen recently said.

And regarding her svelte postpartum figure, Vanessa said, “I think it is great everyone thinks I bounced back so quickly… but truth be told I’m still wearing my maternity clothes and taking it day by day and enjoying being a mom.”

She’s not allowed to take her nanny out to lunch????

My opinion is that nanny should be around when mom is working and there is no one who can take care of the baby, not when baby’s mom can be with the baby

i agree. if the nanny is not there to take care of baby, then why is she there ?
if mom cant handle the baby on her own, then why did she have him ?

First of all – lots of celebrities do interviews at restaurants. Vanessa could’ve had the baby and nanny tag along while she was doing an interview. Also – what is wrong with taking the nanny to lunch? I know if I had a nanny, I would want to be on extremely good terms with her. I wouldn’t want to know her just as a nanny. Just because a nanny is around, does NOT mean that the mother isn’t taking care of the baby 24/7. She could very well be a friend to the mother as well.

“I love everything about being a mom” except the sleepless nights because that would be why I would want a nanny 😛

hahah i agree with you, sometimes its hard to wake up in the middle of the night and do that couple of times, but i would never consider a nanny for that, its my baby, im the mother, its my job.

It is ok if she taking her baby to work so she brings a nanny, my comment wasnt just for this particular situation, i saw a lot of celebrity moms with nannys ALL the time in park, in shopping, WHEN THEY WERENT WORKING so why does she need a nanny in the park.
Of course i would like to be friends with my kids nanny but taking her everywhere, especially if i dont need her NOT.

So you will generously pay your nanny to sit home in the corner? Sounds like a fun life for him/her.
