Molly Sims: “A First Look At Baby Brooks’ Nursery”

New mom Molly Sims is giving her fans a look inside her son’s posh nursery on From the elephant side table, to the laundry and toy baskets, take a peek at baby Brooks‘ sweet room.

“As a first-time mama I definitely spent a lot of time preparing for baby Brooks’ arrival! But the most important step was making sure he had a safe, calming place to sleep at night,” the model-actress writes.

“And since I knew Scott [Stuber] and I would likely be spending lots of time in the nursery ourselves (hello midnight feedings!), I wanted it to feel like a sanctuary for mama and daddy too. The design of the nursery was a big collaboration between my amazing interior designer Kishani Perera, Tiffany and Wendy from Layla Grayce, and myself. It was so much fun seeing all of our ideas come together! Here’s an exclusive first look at the finished product.”

The Las Vegas star goes on to share some links of her favorite pieces in the nursery.

“And a big thank you to Serena & Lily for some of my very favorite pieces in the room: the elephant side table, the rug, and the laundry and toy baskets.

The crib is ducduc, the changing table is New Traditionalist, we used John Robshaw custom bedding and chair fabric, and the crib sheet is Aden and Anais. The giant giraffe was my husband’s find from Anthropologie!”

White and practically-white-blue are not calming colors.

I love the second dog photobombing behind the pillow 😀

White is an incredibly stark ‘color’. There’s nothing soothing or relaxing about it.
