Contraband star Mark Wahlberg took his two sons – Michael, 6 and Brendan, 4 – out for some grub in Beverly Hills, Calif. Saturday (December 15). The trio was spotted walking back to their car after stopping in at the Beverly Glenn Market.
The actor’s wife Rhea Durham and two daughters Ella, 9, and Grace, almost 3, weren’t with the boys.
The singer-turned-actor opened up to RedBook about his lovely girls.
“[My girls] are very strong, smart, and independent. Having two daughters changed my perspective on a lot of things, and I definitely have a newfound respect for women. And I think I finally became a good and real man when I had a daughter.”
The hunky Ted star added, “Women don’t get the credit they deserve. I was at my daughter’s ballet class and I was on the phone making a business call and watching her on the monitor, and I realized how hard it is to work and be there for your kids. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no job more important on the planet than being a mom.”
And raising two boys and two girls there are bound to be slight differences in the way they are raised.
He joked, “My boys drive dirt bikes and wrestle with me. I don’t let my girls out of the house!”
