Is Mel Gibson The Father Of Jodie Foster’s Sons?

Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster recently came out publicly at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. In her epic speech, Jodie sent love to her ex-partner of 20 years, production manager Cydney Bernard, and their sons Charlie, 14, and Kit, 11.

But she also paid tribute to her longtime friend, troubled actor Mel Gibson. And the New York Post is now speculating that he is the biological father of her two boys.

“The kids look like him [Gibson] but blonder,” said an amateur genealogist.

After giving birth to Kit, when asked if “her donor” is the same man, she replied, “I’m not going to answer that.”

In her profound speech Sunday night, she told Gibson: “You know, you save me, too.”

Jodie and Mel have been close friends for years, and she is one of the few people who stood by him throughout his anti-Semitic rants and abusive treatment of Oksana Grigorieva, his ex and the mother of his most recent child, Lucia, 3.

Mel is also dad to 7 other children with his ex-wife, Robyn Gibson.

Do you think Mel is the father of Charlie and Kit?

The NY Post needs to stop speculating and spreading rumors unless they have facts. And why is it anyone’s business anyway? That’s between Jodie and whomever donated their sperm.

The boys look nothing like Mel Gibson. The so called “amateur genealogist” needs to shut his uninformed mouth and stop invading peoples’ privacy.

You do realize this was NOT a coming out speech. Jodie said so in the speech that she’d came out long ago. STOP calling this a coming out speech, she was already out, everyone knew. So stop.

Amateur genealogist, with a strong emphasis on amateur. They look nothing like Mel Gibson. The older one is a spitting image for James Woods though.

  7. It’s shameful for The New York Post, Celebrity Baby Scoop, or anyone to speculate in print about the paternity of children. This is an extremely low level of journalism.

They don’t look like him or his kids. I don’t understand why she needs to defend him constantly (I don’t mean at the awards) but her kids are the age where they will likely read this or have a friend mention it, that’s pretty messed up to just speculate like that with no proof.

I hope not, because the baby might get his racist genes.

The amateur genealogist is obviously amateur for a reason. If we really want to try and figure this out, look up Charlie Foster and James Woods together and tell me they don’t look alike. Of course we are all just speculating and just because she tells the boys at age 21 doesn’t mean she’s going to tell the press.
