Mom-to-be Fergie kept it colorful while traveling between Los Angeles and New York City on Thursday (March 21). The pregnant Black Eyed Peas frontwoman, 37, kept her growing baby bump covered under an animal print silk jacket, red leather pants and studded boots. The day before, she was spotted in jeans and a printed shirt.
“We’re thrilled,” Ferie said during a Thursday appearance on Good Morning America. “I know that my husband told everybody what I said. My quote when we found out —- ‘This blank just got real.’ But it’s true, when that moment occurs to you, there’s going to be a human being growing inside of you . . . it’s reality. It’s amazing, we’re thrilled.”
After a “little bit” of morning sickness early in her first trimester, the My Humps singer – who is expecting her first child with husband Josh Duhamel – said she’s “feeling great.”
“I have no idea what I’m doing!” Fergie added. “I’m just going to play it by ear and see how things go, and let the natural instincts kick in.”
Meanwhile, Fergie’s hunky hubby weighed in on their pregnancy news.
“It’s something that we’ve wanted for a very long time, and this was the right time for us,” Josh told E! News. “She’s handling it beautifully,” he said of Fergie’s pregnancy, “and we’re both just over the moon about it.”
As for a baby name, Josh shared, “It’s a bit of a debate right now. My wife is a little less conventional than I am so I think it’s going to be a debate up until the end.”
One thing the dad-to-be knows for sure?
“It’s going to be the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he said.
