Suburgatory actress Cheryl Hines and her daughter Catherine gave each other a hug at LAX last Monday (April 8). The pair were off to pick up their luggage after arriving from a flight.
Hines served as a host for the annual Filmmaker’s Tribute and Awards program at the Sarasota Film Festival on April 13. Her film Pasadena also premiered at the event. Known for doing comedies – such as Curb Your Enthusiasm – Hines said making the movie was a welcome challenge.
She said of her character, “I liked that she was trying to find her way in this family, and that it was impossible. I am attracted to impossible situations. I think that’s what life is about. You think things are going to be one way and they aren’t. Sometimes it’s funny. This was more of a drama and nice to do, to take a different turn.”
