Gabriel Aubry’s Saturday Sweetie

Gabriel Aubry picked up Nahla from her art class in Brentwood, Calif. on Saturday (April 20). Nahla, 5, shared a few laughs with a friend while leaving.

She looked happy greeting her dad while holding on to her artwork.

Aubry is reportedly happy for Halle Berry’s pregnancy. A source told Radar Online, “Gabe knew that Halle had been trying to get pregnant for a very long time, and Nahla is very excited to become a big sister. Seeing Nahla happy is all that matters to Gabe.”

“Nahla will be starting kindergarten in the fall, and Halle and Gabe are in the process of selecting a private school for her. Gabe isn’t concerned that Halle will try and move to France with Nahla because she got shut down in the custody trial. The judge made it clear, Halle can move wherever she wants, but Nahla stays in Los Angeles where Gabe lives and has been raised. Gabe doesn’t think Halle will try it again, but would absolutely fight any attempt to move Nahla out of Southern California,” the insider added.

Is Ms. Lisa Estall into biased reporting, or what? Sheeesh! Wonder why Gabe is so desperate to stay in L.A., isn’t NYC where the successful fashion models NEED to be in order to make a living? And does he even work anymore? Haven’t seen anything he’s done…..model wise that is.

I absolutely AGREE that Halle should NOT be able to take Nahla out of the Country, but the obviously biased (racial ???) reporting and commenting here and elsewhere is unsettlling.

Well at least we know that Halle won’t have to worry that he will try to take Nahla back to Canada, because he seems desperate to stay away from Canada, as nearly ALL Canadian celebs seems NEVER want to live back home in Canada! The overwhelmingly live in the U.S. for the rest of their lives. Gee, I wonder why that is.

every time there are posts of Halle someone always has to bring the race card or if Gabriel working or not. seriously its getting old.

It cracks me up when people say that Gabriel can’t possibly have a successful modeling career while in LA. There’s this thing, it’s called an airplane – he can easily be in New York in 3-4 hours. Heck, he can fly to New York for the day and be back in time for dinner with Nahla, given the 3 hour time change between the east and west coasts.

And the race thing, in my opinion, is ridiculous. Halle is half white/half african american. If anyone is playing the race card – it’s Halle. She claims she is black, even though she was raised solely by her white mother. You would THINK she would identify with the parent that she spent the most time with, etc. She only feels the need to talk about race, what she considers herself, etc. because she knows that it is controversial and will make people pay attention to her.

It’s like Selena Gomez who is half white/Mexican. Though she only claims she is Mexican, even though she was raised soley by her white mother. You would THINK she would identify with the parent that she spent the most time with. etc.

Amy, either you’re an idiot, ignorant, or both. Halle Berry considers herself “black” because she looks mostly black and that is how society sees her. She would seem like a delusional fool if she identified herself as being “white”. This doesn’t mean that she or other biracial people who identify themselves as being “black” hate their white parent or don’t consider themselves mixed.

Oh my gosh. Thank you! The previous comments made me sit up from a near antibiotic coma. People are forced to call themselves something because that’s the world we live in. You usually go with what you look like because that’s what people will think anyway. Good Lord. I’m hoping the thumbs up pertain to the first paragraph of Amy’s comment, which I agree with.

You don’t have to like Halle Berry, but, be reasonable. I would love a world where people didn’t ask or expect that you identify yourself this way. There would be one less dumb question my daughter would have to answer. But there was a time when we had a “one drop” rule. One drop of “black blood” made you black, which is silly. People make you chose when you’re biracial. It’s not self-imposed. She and I have the same skin tone and I’m not biracial. Nobody would even think she was unless she’d outed herself, as opposed to suppress it, which seems to be what some of you guys think she’s trying to do. My mother raising me as a single parent didn’t negate the influences of my bio-dad. Genetics are funny that way. Um, and for the record, people would pay attention to her regardless because of her looks and, maybe, because she’s been famous for 20-odd years.

As an aside, I enjoy seeing Gabe with Nahla. He seems like a good dad.

I thought Gabriel was in Hugo Boss’ Spring/Summer campaign? Wilhelmina, his agency, is in MIlan, NY and Beverly Hills.
