Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: “No Secrets” With Our Kids

In the first public appearance since news of her recent preventative double mastectomyAngelina Jolie and fiancé Brad Pitt walked the red carpet together on Sunday (June 2) at the London premiere of Brad’s new film, World War Z.

While promoting his new zombie thriller, Brad opened up to Extra about Angelina’s courage. “It really shows you that one person can make a difference… I was incredibly proud of her way before this, but it was a very brave decision.”

At the premiere after-party, Brad talked about how they explained Angelina’s surgery to their six children.

“We have a policy in our family, no secrets,” he shared. “I mean, there’s an age of understanding, so you’ve got to present it in a way that is age appropriate, but we know our children very well. We want everything to be on the table and any questions they have, for them to ask.”

The star couple are parents to Maddox, 12, Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and 4-year-old twin Knox and Vivienne.

World War Z hits US theaters June 21.

I hope her daughters haven’t inherited the gene for breast cancer but if they have they will probably have a cure by the time they grow up and won’t need a huge operation like she had. What a brave lady.

  • love this couple. They are beautiful people on the inside and outside. Gorgeous children

They’re both disgusting and full of shit. How come she had to “share her heartbreaking story” just before his new movie comes out? Why not wait? Oh, right. Free promo. Desperate and very sad.

The only one full of Sh*t here is you.

What dose her having a mastectomy have to do with Brad’s movie and how is he getting free promo? If anything the focuse would be on her and her mastectomy and not the movie.

You need take your crazy pills and go back to FF and relax.

  • @ Westwood

The news reports are focused on her and not reslly his movie so how is he getting “free promo” dumbass.

    Anyway they both look great.

yes, she is such a hero, she is able to have corrective surgery and implants with her original nipple and remaining breast skin, pardon me for thinking more about my nanna and aunty who had to suffer a left over lump and the remaining breast, they didn’t even have specialised bras then. Socity is so fucked up today.
