Channing Tatum: Why We Released The First Photo Of Everly

Proud new parents Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan- Tatum debuted daughter Everly on their own terms with a family portrait posted via Facebook on Father’s Day.

“We didn’t want to go through a tabloid — we just wanted to let it out so paparazzi would stop trying to hound us,” Channing, 33, tells ET Canada. “You know, here it is, that’s it. Now, let us be.”

Since showing off his 3-week-old to the world, the White House Down star admits newborns are a lot of work.

“[Jenna’s] tired. Those first few months, it’s just ridiculous, just [taxing],” he says. “All I can really do is just sit there and change diapers … and get them food. Whatever they want.”

Stating that fatherhood is “amazing,” the Magic Mike star says baby No, 2 might come sooner rather than later. “We could possibly have some Irish twins, I don’t know,” he says.

Such a sweet photo.

I agree with him, but unfortunately they will not let them be.

He seems like such a sweetheart and such a good husband. It’s so rare to find such a good looking celebrity that has such a good head on his shoulders. Tabloids were probably throwing 7 figure offers at them to get the first photos of that gorgeous baby, so refreshing to see someone actually turn them down.
