Lily-Rose Depp: Steppin’ Out For Sushi

Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose went with a friend to eat at Katsuya in Studio City, Calif. on Thursday (September 5). The 14-year-old was accompanied by a bodyguard when leaving the restaurant.

Her 11-year-old brother Jack wasn’t with them.

In his interview with Rolling Stone – the Lone Ranger star talked about splitting up with Vanessa Paradis.

Depp said, “The last couple years have been a bit bumpy. At times, certainly unpleasant, but that’s the nature of breakups, I guess, especially when there are kiddies involved.

“So for whatever reason that ceases, it doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

I don’t care how old fashioned or prudish I sound – but I will be DAMNED if I will ever let my two little girls out in public in as little clothes as this little girl’s parents let her wear.

It doesn’t matter how famous, rich and busy you are – before you let your kids out the house find out where they are going, and if they are dressed appropriately for that!

I agree. I see it all the time and I just don’t get especially mothers who just go dumb were their daughters public outfits are concerned. I think “don’t they look at the news or read the paper?!” Two girls were in a store a few months ago and they had just come from soccer. They had on skintight knit shorts so short that I thought they had on only the jersey “which was THAT short.” AND they were with their mother! Grown men were in ogling heaven and the mom was simply unaware of any of it.

” I hate comments like this” right back at you! What you are saying does not make any sense! Basically your saying if you have arthritis in your leg cut it off!! I think you are forgetting male response to those things are human nature, it is built in their systems thats the genetic make up of men! If they see that chemical responses are sent out ant they look OK, I guess your one of those attention seeking mum who poems off their little girls too. Stop wasting our precious air and for all the mothers who turn a blind eye on what their kids wear should all go and throw themselves in front of a bus!!! Pathetic people with no common sense or mentality!

are you sick or what? she is 14. She has the right to wear whatever she wants. If men have a problem they are the ones who should get help or something.. It’s not ”build in their systems” It’s just that their behavior is accepted since people like you will say that it’s OK for them to be like that and blame the 14 year old… This is why I shouldn’t read comments

Let all women wear a burqa then, because men can’t control themselves and it’s not their fault. If a woman gets raped, it’s her fault, right? The men is let off the hook because he can’t help it.

I hope you don’t have sons. And if you do, I hope you will teach them that they are responsible for their own actions, that they’re not primates.

Men can’t control their animal-like urges? Give me a break. You sound like one of those imbeciles who thinks if a woman wears a short skirt, she should expect to be sexually harassed by perverts.

        • your mom

evilkanivil, i think you are the pathetic one who does not make sense. I don’t get the arthritis comment, but whatever, that’s not the point. Women/girls should NOT have to ‘cover up’ for fear of men looking at them. This type of thinking is a wrong in society. How do you not see that?

      • I totally agree with your mom. I’m the mom of 4 girls who wear shorts just the way they want it.
A 7 myself I had such a short dress for my first communion, I think this was indecent

Lily is a pretty girl, but that top is not appropriate for a 14 yr-old girl, IMO. I wish these young girls didn’t feel like they had to grow up so fast. Maybe it’s a good thing I have a son, and not a daughter, lol. .. she’d probably hate me because I would not let her dress this way.

My issue has to do more with the fact that grown men were following this 14 year old girl around to get photos of her. She is not a celebrity and her famous dad was not with her. Seriously, there has to be a line with celeb kids and following them around on their own without their parents crosses it for me.

The business of celeb baby/kids just keeps growing and growing. I cringe knowing that there will probably be photos of Violet Affleck’s first date online when she grows up.

  4. Anna

If I was her age and with that body I would rock the same clothes as she

  5. arabella

every time there are pictures of lily-rose she wears the same type of clothes. shorts and tank tops.I mean does this little girl have any other style.

  6. Mia

She looks like young Natalie Portman in “Léon” 😀

Doesn’t the restaurant have a dress code? They allow short shorts and a camisole?

  8. Omg!!! Grow up ppl. She’s in ca, it’s hot! Plus it’s something many teen girls wear.

  9. Lana

What a cute French girl Lily is!
By the way in NYC today all girls were dressed like that while running errands in the morning. It is hot in the city

  10. Joey

NYC was not “hot” yesterday morning. It was in the 60’s.

Kids her age dress like this in France, where shes from

Somehow, it seems that it’s only the Americans who get up in arms whenever there’s a picture of a young girl who’s showing some skin. The concern – or perhaps paranoia is the better word – about ogling men who can’t control their own urges (!), sex offenders and ‘appropriateness’ also seems to be classically American. That reasoning doesn’t seem to apply to Europeans and everyone else; I think all they see is just an ordinary girl dressed ordinarily while out. Everyone’s much more relaxed and healthy, without seeing evil and impending doom on a pair of short shorts.

  13. Anon

In the 70s, every girl (and boy!) in my gym class wore those same shorts. Why are they suddenly so inappropriate?

  14. sharwah

nobody seems to care that the other girls is a vampire!!!!! look at that pale pasty vampire skin!!!!!!!!!!!! *run run lily run*

  15. anonymous

stunningly beautiful girl. bad taste in clothes, but beautiful non the less.

  16. Anonymous

It’s inappropriate attire for a restaurant.

  17. Will

I’d like to see her in just a thong at the pool!
