Chris Rock & Family Attend Kids Choice Awards

Chris Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock brought their children Zahra, 9, and Lola, 11, to the 27th Annual Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday (March 29). The event was held at the USC Galen Center.

Chris brought Zahra on stage with him to present an award on the live show.

Rock recently reflected on his childhood and compared it to raising his girls.

He said, “My oldest is 11 and when I was her age I used to make breakfast for three of my brothers. Sure, breakfast was just heating up water and pouring out packs of oatmeal, but still. I would get three kids ready for school, then myself.

“My mother and father would see us out, and look over my work. ‘OK! Andre’s a little dirty here. You didn’t wipe the crust out of his eyes!’ Like, I would get graded on how I handled my brothers. My girls are not ready for that!”

Must make you feel great about yourself to make fun of a 9 year old child.

Braces come on at different ages for different reasons. My children’s were at 13, 11 and 16. So many it’s not the proper time. Be nice.

    Who is the youngest girl?

I remember her being at the premier of one of the Madagascar movies as well.
