Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (February 10).
Joined by wife Behati Prinsloo and their 4-month-old daughter Dusty Rose, The Voice star, 37, said the ceremony was “the coolest thing ever.”
During his acceptance speech, the new dad couldn’t help but gush about his sweet family.
“I have a daughter, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world,” the Sugar hitmaker said during the ceremony. “I’m one of the luckiest people who’s ever lived and it has nothing to do with me, it has to do with the people who love me the most. And so I thank all of those people.”
He added: “This is crazy – I’m not gonna downplay and pretend that it’s not the coolest thing ever that this is happening.”
Also at the ceremony was fellow The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
“Imagine my disappointment when I found out that this isn’t a roast,” Shelton said during his speech. “If you would have told me then that this guy was going to end up being one of my best friends, I would’ve called you crazy.”
On being a dad, Levine gushed, “It’s been a blast. Every day is fun — every day was fun before so now it’s just a little more fun. She just gets bigger and cuter every day.”
Levine took to Instagram after the event.
“Whaaaaaaaaat!?” he captioned an image of his star.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 27, went on to share a sweet family photo and heartfelt message.
“A very surreal and amazing day for our family. I’m so proud of all your accomplishments, but mostly I’m proud of the amazing person you are. Best dad best husband, we love you,” Prinsloo Instagrammed the family photo.
