Fun dad alert!
Jimmy Kimmel Live star Jimmy Kimmel shared sweet snapshots of daughter Jane, nearly 3, enjoying daddy’s homemade pancakes.
“Thomas pancakes are even better than their English muffins,” he Instagrammed the image of his smiley toddler before digging into her Thomas the Train pancake.
And he also created a Lightning McQueen pancake.
“As you can see, we are very excited about Cars 3,” he wrote.
The funnyman, 49, and his wife Molly McNearney welcomed their son William “Billy” John Kimmel on April 21.
During his announcement, Kimmel said that nurses and doctors discovered their newborn had a heart disease that required open heart surgery. He went on to thank the entire staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for saving their son’s life.
“My wife was in bed relaxing, a very attentive nurse at Cedars-Sinai heard a murmur in his heart and noticed he was a bit purple, which is not common,” Kimmel explained. “[Nurses] determined he wasn’t getting enough oxygen in his blood, either in his heart or lungs … It’s a terrifying thing, you know my wife is back in the recovery room, she has no idea what’s going on.”
Their son was born with a congenital heart disease and there was a “hole in the wall of the left and right side of his heart.”
“He’ll have to have another surgery in 3-6 months,” Kimmel said, adding that Billy will need a third “non-evasive surgery when he’s older.”
