What a cutie!
Little People, Big World stars Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff‘s son Jackson has hit a milestone.
“Our Baby J is two months old today! How?! Baby j is sleeping a consistent 7 hours! Loves smiling at mom and dad! Falls asleep during pool time. Gets excited when we change his diaper. LOVES bath time. Hates being hungry. Jackson is 98th percentile for height and weighs over 12 pounds! Keep growin baby J!” Tori Instagrammed the sweet snapshot.
The new mom also shared another family photo.
“I just love my boys. #zandtpartyofthree #babyj,” she captioned the image in the pool.
The Little People, Big World stars – who welcomed their firstborn on May 12 – opened up about their baby boy who was born with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism.
“You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two,” Zach said of the same condition he lives with. “But I knew, dwarf or not, I was going to parent my child with the mentality that not everyone gets a trophy. You have to earn it.”
He added: “I want people to know that he’s just like his dad: being a dwarf is just part of the whole package of who he is.”
Zach and his wife, who is average size, were aware that their child would have a 50 percent chance of inheriting achondroplasia. The couple learned of their baby’s condition during an ultrasound at 34 weeks. At that time, they told their family, but waited until after the birth to publicly discuss the diagnosis.
“We knew our chances of having a dwarf, but it didn’t matter,” said Tori, a kindergarten teacher. “We just knew we wanted to be parents, however God wanted it to happen.”
Zach says their family has become a source of inspiration for many.
“Tons of parents e-mail me to say what an inspiration we are for their kids, showing that it’s possible for them to get married and have a family,” Zach shared. “The other day we met a couple who have a dwarf child. They started watching our show and it made them feel that it was all going to be okay.”
Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on TLC.
