Congratulations are in order for Theo Rossi and Meghan McDermott.
The Sons of Anarchy star, 42, and his wife welcomed their second child – son Arlo Benjamin Rossi – on Thursday (August 3), PEOPLE reports.
The newborn was born in New York City at 3:06 p.m., weighing 8 lbs., 13 oz., and measuring 20½ in length.
Arlo joins 2-year-old big brother Kane Alexander.
“My wife and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful to welcome our son, Arlo Benjamin Rossi, into the world!” gushes the proud dad.
He adds: “My wife and the little man are doing terrific, but I think our 2-year-old son, Kane, is the happiest now that he’s a big brother.”
In May, the couple announced their second pregnancy on the red carpet at the Los Angeles special screening of his latest film, Lowriders.
The couple – who were wed in 2014 – were thrilled to shared their happy news.
“I’m excited for my son. I’m excited for my wife. I’m excited for my family. I’m excited for me,” Rossi said at the premiere. “I mean, there’s nothing bigger and better in life. It took me a long time to realize that, but you know at the end of the day it’s family first. None of this exists without it.”
The pair were planning on a surprise delivery.
“He understands baby as much as he can. He just sees my belly,” McDermott said of their toddler. “He kisses my belly. He says goodnight to the baby. I’ve been showing him little baby videos. It’s cute. He just likes to kiss my belly, which I think is adorable.”
In April, the proud papa posted a photo holding Kane after finishing a race.
Congratulations to the Rossi-McDermott family!
