“Just a typical Thursday night at the Fisher house…featuring Catboy, Gekko and Owlette! It’s time to be a hero! #PJMasks,” the Before He Cheats hitmaker, 34, captioned the image of husband Mike Fisher and their 2-year-old son Isaiah donning superhero masks as part of their bedtime routine.
After 17 seasons in the NHL, Fisher, 37, recently announced his retirement from hockey.
Shortly after his announcement, Fisher posted a photo on Instagram with a group of children from Danita’s Children.
“Amazing few days @danitaschildren hanging out some awesome kids! This place is a children’s facility with housing, food program, school, church and a great hospital. If you’re looking for a place to invest in kids and make a huge difference this is it!” he wrote.
The Church Bells singer proudly shared her husband’s post and added the comment, “Retirement looks good on ya’ @mfisher1212.”
Fisher acts as a director on the board for Danita’s Children, which provides “education, nutrition, medical and dental care, and Christ-like love to the children and families we serve. We believe through our teachers, mentors, and house parents we are raising children to discover their purpose and to become the future leaders of Haiti.”
