Anna Ortiz's Clock Is Still Ticking!

It looks like Ana Ortiz and husband Noah Lebenzon, who welcomed baby Paloma just 4 ½ months ago, are already thinking about expanding their family!
“I don’t know when, but probably sooner than later,” Anna told PEOPLE earlier this week. “You know the clock is ticking.”
The 38-year-old Ugly Betty star, who recently made the move from Los Angeles to New York to follow her show, says she loves being back home:
Being in New York, where I was born and raised, and sort of raising another New York kid has been a really cool experience for me. I was in LA for so long. Also rediscovering a new relationship with my mom has been a pretty amazing relationship.
The new mom says that Paloma’s grandmother is her “go-to”: “She comes to set with me and she takes care of [Paloma] while I’m filming.”
“She is just sort of my right hand with the baby,” adds Anna.
Ana Ortiz: "Motherhood Has Changed My Outlook"

It sounds as though motherhood has had a profound impact on Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz.
“It’s changed my outlook on everything,” the new mom tells OK!
Speaking at this week's Nothing But Nets event at the UN in New York, Ana says that since welcoming her own daughter Paloma Louise in June she feels a responsibility to do what she can to help all children in need.
The Nothing But Nets campaign is aimed at providing mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria in Africa, a cause that Ana is happy to be involved with.
“They’re so vulnerable, these children and especially out there [in Africa]," she says. "Any publicity that we can bring to it is wonderful.”
She adds that being a mom has changed her perspective in a surprising way: “The world seems much larger to me now. That seems weird, because you would think it would become more intimate. But there’s that thing, ‘think globally, act locally,’ and I think this something that’s so easy for everyone to do.”
Ana Ortiz Balances Work & Baby

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz spoke with PEOPLE at the Fitness Mind, Body, Spirit Games in New York City last week. The actress who was back on the set with baby in tow, just three weeks after giving birth, dished on everything from breast pumps to fashion week.
"She's [3-month-old Paloma] like a little Ugly Betty mascot." "Everybody is constantly popping into my room to pick her up or talk to her. She has this whole other family at [the show], and it's great."
When it comes to help there's no shortage, both grandmothers are on the set to help out while the actress films takes.
Ana Ortiz Is Thinking About Baby #2

Just two months after welcoming her daughter Paloma Louise, happy mom Ana Ortiz says she can’t wait to have another baby!
“The sooner the better,” she tells OK!. “We’re definitely looking forward to having a playmate for her.”
As for little Paloma, Ana boasts that she’s recently reached a big milestone:
“She just started smiling. She’s like [smiles] ‘a-ha.’ And it’s like [theatrics] melt, melt, melt, melt. That’s her latest thing – smiling. It’s always in the morning, and it’s like she’s trying to laugh. It’s almost like she’s coughing – like a cat coughing up a hairball. It’s so cute.”
Paloma is the first baby for Ana and her husband Noah Lebenzon, and the 38-year-old Ugly Betty star reports that parenthood has brought them even closer together.
“It’s incredible. It’s so much deeper. Before, you’re together, but there’s never that sense of ‘til death do you part, right? When she came along, I was like ‘oh yeah, now I get ‘til death do you part.’ We are together forever. There’s no one I respect more as a man and as a dad. He’s surpassing my dreams. I’m really lucky. Today is the one day he couldn’t babysit. He’s been changing diapers, he’s been getting up in the middle of the night walking her around, he’s been so hands-on and he still manages to be like ‘baby, you look beautiful. My God, you’re so sexy, you’re so beautiful.’ I’m like ‘are you for real?’”
How sweet! Sounds like parenthood suits them just perfectly!
New Mom Ana Ortiz Returns To Work

She looks amazing! Ana Ortiz, who just gave birth five weeks ago to her first child, Paloma, has already returned to work. The 38-year-old who plays the lovable Hilda Suarez on Ugly Betty was spotted on the set of her popular TV show in NYC on Wednesday (July 22).
On getting back to work so quickly after Paloma's birth, Ana says,
“I’m excited. I’ve gotten so much support from the cast and so much support from the producers and my mother’s going to come with me to set and help out. I couldn’t ask for a better husband, he’s willing to do whatever needs to be done. Everyone’s so excited to have the baby on set that if I even see the baby while I’m working I’ll be surprised.”
Ana Ortiz Welcomes A Daughter!

Ana Ortiz and husband Noah Lebenzon welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Saturday June 27, reports PEOPLE.
Paloma Louise Lebenzon, was born at 4:25 p.m. in New York City, weighing 7lbs., 10oz.
“She is elated and completely glowing,” says the Ugly Betty star’s rep. “She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful.”
Her costars are already calling and sending gifts to the hospital, including her TV son, Mark Indelicato, who says Ana has just the right personality traits in being an incredible mom.
"She will be an amazing mom," he tells the magazine. "Ana has the biggest heart and she's so loving. She's also laid back and chill but at the same time she's forceful and knows how to discipline someone if she has to be. It's the perfect combination in being a great mom. She's done it with me a bunch of times when I got out of line. She's definitely my second mom."
Ana Ortiz Dishes About Pregnancy

Ana Ortiz, whose first child was due yesterday, can’t wait to be a mom. The 38-year-old Ugly Betty star recently spoke with Pregnancy Magazine about her experiences during pregnancy, her fears of labor and breastfeeding, and what kind of mother she hopes to be.
On the biggest surprise of pregnancy: “How great it's been! I was sort of nervous about the whole thing— just working and them not writing it into the show; I was just nervous about a whole slew of things. But I've just loved, loved the whole experience.”
On her cravings: “This baby has definitely given me a sweet tooth. There is absolutely no way I can have dinner without dessert. It's just really physically impossible for me. But food aversions? Not really - food has been my friend.”
On how she told her husband: “I was so nauseous for a couple weeks. I just did not think I was pregnant because - maybe this is too much information - but I never get my period very regularly. So I just thought it was my body just tripping out on me in some way. So I [said to my husband], "You know what? Can you go and get some pregnancy tests so that I can connect my mind and my body, and my body will know and I can get my period. He did, and in 10 minutes I was supposed to leave for work. I came out and I was like, "Babe I'm pregnant." Then literally five minutes later I had to leave to go to work. So the two of us were completely alone soft of in a daze until we got to see each other that night.”

Ana Ortiz Can't Wait To Meet Her Daughter

The wait is almost over for Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz, who is expecting her first child with her husband Noah Lebenzon later this month.
The mom-to-be tells In Touch that she’s anxious to finally meet her baby girl.
“I’m most excited to meet her, and see who this crazy alien in my belly is! I hope she has my husband’s patience and kindness,” Ana, 38, says.
Like most new moms, though, Ana admits to feeling a few pre-baby jitters.
“I’m nervous! I don’t want to spoil her, but I don’t want to be too tough,” she says, but adds that she has a strong support system in place if she needs it. “I’m nervous about finding that balance, but my mother’s a genius and I’ve got good women around me, so I think we’ll be all right.”
All the best to Ana as her big day approaches!
Ana Ortiz Shows Off Her Bump

Ana Ortiz's baby bump was on full display as the mom-to-be was spotted out for lunch with friends at Da Silvano restaurant in New York today.
The Ugly Betty star and her husband Noah Lebenzon are set to welcome their first child - a daughter! - later this month.
Ana, 38, recently chatted about her pregnancy, saying, "I'm having a little girl which I'm really excited about. It's been a really nice pregnancy so I've been lucky. It's sort of nearing the end and I'm starting to feel a little bit ready, but I think that's part of the process."
Ana Ortiz's Post-Baby Plan

Mom-to-be Ana Ortiz says she's on a tight schedule to lose the baby weight after her little one arrives in July.
"I'm not going to lie," Ana tells People. "I'm immediately going to try to get back into shape. We start work [on Ugly Betty] two weeks after I give birth. The pregnancy was not written in the show, so I wish I could be cool and let nature take its course, but no, I'm definitely going to try to get into shape."
She already has a plan of action to get back to her pre-baby form: "They say breast-feeding helps, so I'm going to be doing that, but there is this thing called the belly bandit and apparently that is suppose to help, but I'm going to pull out all the stops."
The baby - a girl! - will be the first for Ana, 38, and her husband Noah Lebenzon. As her due date approaches she says they are getting anxious to meet the newest addition to their family.
"I can't wait to see who she looks like, my husband or me. I think she is going to look like my husband. I'm really excited to see how she looks like. Also I want to see my mom as a grandmother. So it's going to be fun."
Pregnancy seems to suit Ana - she is pictured here looking positively radiant at the Bravo A-List Awards, held earlier this month.
