Brooke Burke: I Have No Regrets & I Love What I Do
TV personality, winner of Dancing with the Stars, mompreneur and mother of four - Brooke Burke is one of the busiest moms in Hollywood. In an exclusive interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop, Brooke talked about her four kids - Neriah, 9 ½, Sierra, 7 ½, Rain, 2 ½ and Shaya, 1 ½ - and her passion for sharing and learning through the social media, how she juggles her career and family life and her thoughts on our obsession with celebrity babies.
CBS: How DO you do it all with four kids?
BB: “I ask myself that daily. How and why do I do what I do? I’ve got four kids and they’re all having birthdays soon. For me it’s about being really organized. I don’t believe in total balance, it’s about making the most of everyday. It’s about listening to your children and your family. It’s about finding your own way and I’m feeling pretty confident in the decisions that I make. I learn as I go. I’m very flexible. I have my priorities set in the right order. And you know, I always knew I was going to be a mom and have a big family. I’m fortunate enough at this point in my life with Modern Mom that I work from home a lot. I work on The Doctors too. I’m doing things that are do-able for my family. So as crazy as it sounds, you know, somehow I manage it all. It’s not about perfection, it’s not about balance, it’s about getting organized. And it’s about loving what you do, and you know, I love what I do.”
CBS: How do you discipline 4 children that span 9 years in age?
Marcia Cross: I’m Living The Life I’ve Always Wanted
Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross is helping conquer hunger this holiday season as the official spokesperson for Grateful Platefuls who will donate $100,000 to Feeding America, which will provide 700,000 meals to Americans in need.
Celebrity Baby Scoop participated in an exclusive webcast with Marcia to discuss the urgent need for hunger relief right here in our own communities. The busy mother of 2 ½-year old twin girls, Eden and Savannah, also opened up about her “little jokesters,” what she really thinks about celebrity baby websites and the paparazzi, and how she manages her “very full life.”
CBS: What are Eden and Savannah into these days?
MC: “They’ve just started preschool so new songs and new kids. Savannah’s still only wearing navy blue so that’s a challenge,” laughs Marcia. “Eden likes to be naked so that’s another challenge but they’re fabulous and they’re really funny and they seem to have really good hearts and a great sense of humor.”
CBS: What kinds of things do the girls do to make you laugh?
MC: “My girls are really funny! They’re actually little jokesters. They do twists on words already. I call them ‘my little minxies.’ They dance, they do imitations of other kids dancing, they make up songs, they make up lyrics. It’s all so silly but every mother just adores their own child and I’m the same way. They make me laugh all the time.”

In an exclusive interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop, Candace, 33, talks about her nanny & housekeeper-free home, the pressures of today's child stars and her advice to young starlets, their children who dream of sports and acting careers, Val's new role as vintner, and the importance of faith in her everyday life.
CBS: Do you want your children to be in show business like you were? If they don't follow in your footsteps, are you hoping they'll follow in dad's footsteps on the ice rink?
CCB: "Our kids are making that choice for themselves, and it seems they are following in both our footsteps. My daughter wants to act, and we're allowing her to audition. My son Lev wants to be a tennis player, and Maks wants to be a hockey player. They're all pretty determined and focused to pursue those goals. We’re supportive of whatever they choose to do, as long as they work hard and put all their effort into it and not quit when it gets rough."
CBS: Tell us what a typical day is like in the Cameron-Bure household. Are you forever shuttling the kids from hockey practice to play dates? What are the kids into?
CCB: "Our days are crazy!!! We don't have a nanny or housekeeper; we do it all ourselves.

CBS: Have you ever had a frazzled mom moment?
DM: "Honestly, I have a frazzled mom moment everyday!! I have 2 daughters with strong characters. Today's drama was dressing warm in the morning. I chose a school with a uniform for this reason (well for many reasons - education being the first, but I needed less drama in the morning when it came to dressing). Now, she doesn't like undershirts. I yelled a lot this morning, which made me cry. I felt awful about it. I tried to contain myself, but I want her to be warm, not get sick. I needed to win this one. It is hard to see their faces sad from me being the disciplinarian, but it is part of learning for them and for me! My kids force me to learn patience and I am a better, and more evolved person because of it. And they will understand one day. This is all textbook. There is not family that is drama-less. If there is one, I assure you there will be problems down the road. Communication is essential."
CBS: You have been in 5 of Madonna's music videos including Papa Don't Preach and Justify My Love. Are you and Madonna friends? What is it like working with the Queen of Pop? Will you be working with her in the future? Have your kids had play dates together?
Sherri Shepherd: "My Number One Priority Is My Son"

CBS: What would you say is the best part of motherhood?
I was talking to Elisabeth Hasselbeck about this, this morning. My son, man, when he grabs my face and he says, "Mommy I want to kiss you. Mommy I love you! "
He just wants to lay with me and he puts his head right on the inside of my shirt, it comforts him. Something about these boobs comfort men, I don't know what it is! When we just lie there and look in each others eyes I think, "What did I ever do before I had you?" That's what I love about being a mother just the bond that my son and I have.
CBS: How about the most challenging?
Maxine Bahns: "Madison Has Awakened My Senses"
Maxine Bahns was made for motherhood! The 38-year-old actress and accomplished triathlete is also new mom to 8-month-old daughter Madison Rose and says "life couldn’t be any better." Maxine opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about life with a textbook angel baby, staying in great shape while training for triathlons, her unexpected quick delivery (that her husband missed!), and her journey toward her acting career alongside ex-boyfriend Ed Burns.
CBS: You are mom to 8-month-old daughter Madison Rose. Tell us how motherhood has changed your life. Any surprises? What's your favorite part? Tell us about Madison's personality? What kinds of things does she do to make you laugh?
MB: "Motherhood has been amazing! I can’t believe how easy it is. Every one said “your life will never be as easy and you won’t sleep anymore.” Well, my baby sleeps 12 hours every night and she is super easy and has made my relationship with my husband so much richer. We just laugh with her and watch each other in her. Seriously, it couldn’t be any better. Madison and I go to swim class and it is so inspiring to see her kicking and splashing. I get to experience everything for the first time with her and I have been given the gift of seeing life with a whole new perspective. Four days a week I have been going to the pool to swim 1-2 miles each time, forgetting to appreciate the water, the sun, the freedom. She has definitely awakened my senses."

There's no doubt we're in the midst of a Hollywood baby boom! Celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Heidi Klum and Halle Berry are just some of the famous moms bringing sexy back to maternity duds. We can't get enough of their fabulous outfits, excentuating their gorgeous baby bumps.
In this special feature, Nicole Crane, Associate Style Editor at Life & Style Weekly, gives us the low-down on celebrity maternity trends. Who's wearing the hippest baby bump gear? And how can we steal the style on a budget?
CBS: What are the current celebrity maternity trends?
L&S: "Celebs are definitely not trying to hide their baby bumps! It’s more about dressing for their new shape (and making it look even more amazing). We’re seeing silk dresses in fun prints and patterns (like Kourtney Kardashian’s mini dresses and Nicole Richie’s maxi dresses). Feminine touches like flirty ruffles and embellishments (like the silver dress Halle is wearing) are also big. Maternity clothing has gotten a lot more sophisticated — designers have been able to translate a lot of current trends like animal prints or plum hues onto maternity wear as well. Of course, expectant moms can’t go wrong with loose, airy dresses (like Halle). Those are always a classic for pregnant stars."
CBS: Are more and more celebs wearing non-maternity clothes throughout their pregnancies these days?
L&S: "Actually, yes! Of the ladies Life & Style included in our story on stylish stars who are expecting, only a few are actually wearing maternity clothing. You see French Connection and Alice & Olivia on Kourtney, Michael Kors and Diesel on Heidi, BCBG and Dream Culture on Halle. None of these companies offer actual maternity clothing but stars, particularly these stars who are always on-trend, are discerning about the latest fashions and they really know how to dress for their bodies. For example, Halle has a beautiful collarbone and neckline — you’ll notice she often shows them off with scoop necks and halters. Plus, the latest trends are conveniently maternity friendly. Slouchy, loose-fitting tops over slim pants or leggings (like Kourtney) and boyfriend jeans and plaid button-downs (like Heidi). Expectant moms can get away with a lot more and are more comfortable this season wearing many items meant for average women."

Crawford admits she has other priorities these days and "makes decisions for different reasons now." She goes on to say "I have kids now, and from a business point of view I have to make sure it’s in line with the message I’m putting out there with other projects."
