Just a couple months after getting engaged, lovebirds Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner announced last week that they've now called off the wedding. Though the news came as a surprise to some, it seems they decided to scratch their planned nuptials for the sake of their kids.
The Bold and the Beautiful actor tells TMZ that he and Heather were so busy planning the wedding that they were left with little time to devote to their kids - she's mom to 13-year-old Ava from her marriage to Richie Sambora, he has 2 sons with his ex Felicia Wagner.

"Ava was so excited when we told her," Heather, 50, tells People. "She hugged Jack, said congratulations, and she immediately wanted to see the ring. Then she ran and Facebooked her new stepbrother."

Variety reports that the daughter of actress Heather Locklear and guitarist Richie Sambora will soon be coming to the big screen, making her acting debut in Judd Apatow's new untitled comedy.

Ava walked the catwalk for her dad's clothing line White Trash Beautiful. Dad couldn't be more proud of his sweet girl: "My daughter’s beautiful, she’s gregarious, she’s funny, she’s smart. I’m beyond proud,” boasts Richie.

Ava Sambora made her modeling debut at last night's LA Fashion Week premiere of her rocker dad Richie Sambora's women's fashion line White Trash Beautiful. The gorgeous 12-year-old was cheered on by her beaming mom Heather Locklear as she strutted her way down the catwalk.
This is the Bon Jovi guitarist's first foray into the world of fashion. The inspiration behind the collection, according to his design partner Nikki Lund, is that "every single woman has a little bit of white trash in them and that every single woman wants to be sexy, and these clothes are designed to let a little bit of that diva out."

Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, cheered on their daughter Ava Elizabeth, 11, at a soccer match Thursday afternoon. We recently saw the divorced couple watching one of Ava's games together from the sideline.
Towards the end of the game, Ava injured her leg and Sambora, 49, carried his daughter back to her mom's car.

Heather & Richie Cheer On Ava

Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear watched their 11-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth, play a soccer game in Calabasas on Tuesday. The former married couple seemed happy at the game and even rode together in the same vehicle.
Heather was arrested and released in Santa Barbara, California in September of last year for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. On January 2 of this year, Heather pleaded guilty to one charge of reckless driving, a misdemeanor. In return, the district attorney dismissed DUI charges. In March of this year Richie was faced with similar charges and pleaded no contest to DUI (Ava was in the car when he was driving under the influence).
