Jade Goody Leaves Entire Fortune To Sons

Although it's been almost one year since her death, the details of Jade Goody's last will have just been revealed.

And while she carried on a highly-publicized relationship with bad boy Jack Tweed in her final days, it seems the Big Brother star never lost focus on what was truly important and has left almost $6 million to her two adorable boys, Bobby Jack, 6, and Freddie, 5.

Her will states: "The wishes of my children should be regarded as paramount."

The late reality star's children are now living with their father, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, who will be their guardian until his death.

A friend says that Jade will be "smiling down from heaven" on her boys. "The bottom line of all this is that she'll have looked after her two young sons and no one has to worry about their financial security or education. They're very well provided for, and Jade will be smiling down from Heaven. It really was all she cared about in her final weeks - that her boys would have a proper schooling and not have to face the struggles she did growing up in a poor family in Bermondsey."

Jade's widower - who is awaiting trial after allegedly raping a 19-year-old - received her six year old Volkswagen, while her mother, Jackiey Budden, received $20,000.

Jade Goody Has Died

Jade Goody, the 27-year-old mother of two young boys died in her sleep early Sunday morning - Mother's Day in the U.K. - following a public battle with cervical cancer.

Jade's mother Jackiey Budden was at her bedside and stated, "My beautiful daughter is at peace." Jade's husband Jack Tweed and close friend Kevin Adams were also with her as she passed. Max Clifford, her publicist and friend stated, "I think she's going to be remembered as a young girl who has, and who will, save an awful lot of lives," referring to how her public battle with cancer has raised awareness of the disease.

The reality TV star left behind two young sons, Bobby Jack, 5, and Freddie, 4. The boys' father, TV presenter Jeff Brazier stated, "I'm grateful the boys were able to say their goodbyes and spend that precious time with their wonderful mother. Bobby and Freddie are my absolute priority and I will be doing everything I can to be their rock and to give them all my love and support to get them through a confusing and upsetting time."

Jade became popular on the third series of Big Brother in 2002. Since then, she's been a tabloid favorite.

Harpal Kumar, Cancer Research UK's chief executive, stated that Jade's high-profile battle with cancer will raise awareness and save lives: "We are very sad to hear of Jade's death and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this devastating time. Her brave battle with an aggressive form of cervical cancer has received widespread public attention and encouraged thousands of women to seek advice on how to prevent the disease. It's critical that young women take up their invitations to cervical screenings if we are to avoid more tragic cases like Jade's. She has done a great public service by raising awareness of the importance of screening during her last few months of life."

Dr Lesley Walker, Cancer Research UK's director of cancer information also stated, "Cervical screening is very important because it can stop cervical cancer from developing in the first place. Women can protect themselves against cervical cancer by always attending routine screening tests when invited by their doctor. These tests detect any changes in the cells lining their cervix early on, so they can easily be treated before cancer develops."

Our deepest condolences go out to the Goody family during this difficult time.

Jade Goody's ex, Jeff Brazier was seen at Brighton station with their children, Bobby Jack, 5, and Freddie, 4, on the way to their christening in London on Saturday.

Then just ten days later, Jade's condition was deemed terminal and she was given a few weeks to live. On Feb. 15th Jade exchanged rings with Jack Tweed, who appeared alongside her on Celebrity Big Brother, in a private informal ceremony on the banks of the River Thames. The couple were legally married on Feb. 22 at Down Hall country house near Hatfield Heath.

On March 5th, Jade requested to be christened from her bed at the Royal Marsden Hospital and two days later she and her sons were christened. Her publicist, Max Clifford, confirmed that this would be Goody's last public appearance.

Goody was diagnosed with cervical cancer last August, which has since spread to her liver, bowels and groin.

Jade Goody Regrets Not Being Able To Have A Daughter

Jade Goody, who was forced to undergo an emergency hysterectomy due to cervical cancer, talked to The Mirror about not being able to give her two sons, 5-year-old Bobby and 3-year-old Freddie, a little sister. “Knowing I’ll never have another baby is heartbreaking,” Jade, whose mother became addicted to crack when she was five and left Jade to fend for herself, told the Mirror. “I’m a young woman and I’ve got two boys who I idolize but I would have loved a little girl. I’d always felt there was a girl inside me desperately wanting to live because I never got the chance to be a child myself. I desperately wanted to give birth to that little girl and give her the childhood I never had. I would make sure her hair was brushed at night and I would rip up old sheets to make rag tails. Then we’d go shopping and play with dolls. But that little girl will never live now and that really hurts. It means even if I get better, the effects of this cancer will be with me forever.” Click below to read the rest
