Celebrity Parents Share Advice At Pre Oscar Studio Gifting Event
Feb 28, 2011 by MARSHA TAKEDA-MORRISON

Oscar buzz was in the air as celebrities mingled and checked out hot and up-and-coming baby products at Jayneoni Moore's Pre Oscar Studio Gifting Event on Saturday (February 26). I was lucky enough to chat briefly with celeb parents Jodie Sweetin, Laura Ling, Joey Fatone and Angie Everhart and to get their answers to five Celebrity Baby Scoop questions:
What is your can’t-live-without baby/child product at the moment?
Angie, who was with her adorable 1 1/2-year-old son Kayden, was quick to respond “Diapers!” while Laura enthused about the Stacker from Green Toys as daughter, Li, 8 months, played nearby. “They’re an environmentally friendly product. She loves stacking them – anytime she’s antsy or crying we just give her those,” she said. Jodie had a long list of can’t-do-withouts: a special swaddling blanket for 5-month-old daughter Beatrix and a nightlight that projects the moon and the stars on the ceiling, “[Daughter Zoe, 3] will not sleep without it!,” the former Full House actress says. And dad-of-two Joey probably echoed the sentiments of parents everywhere when he said a big box of wipes is absolutely essential for all those “sticky hands.” (Those would be the hands of daughters Briahna, 9-1/2, and Kloey, 10 months.)

Former N'sync singer Joey Fatone is following the footsteps of many celebrities and adding family-friendly fare to his resume, in an effort to get his kids excited about his work. He recently guest-starred on an episode of Disney Channel's Imagination Movers, where he played a baseball player, Joey Giordano. Time Out New York sat down with Joey to discuss the role, and his two children: Briahna, 9 and Kloey, 4 months.
On teaching his children about his New York City roots: "I've brought Brihana back to the city. There's a pizza place in Brooklyn she loves called Spumoni Gardens. She keeps asking if she's from New York or from Florida. I tell her she's a Floridian, but she's kind of a New Yorker because I keep bringing her back to taste all the food and culture, and we still have family living in Staten Island."
On taking on new roles that are appealing to children: "It was a lot of fun and it changes things up a bit. Also, I want my kids to be excited about what I do. My daughter doesn't care about what I did with 'N Sync, but once I did Hannah Montana about a year ago, I became God to her. My nephew loves Imagination Movers, so it's going to be cool for him to see me on that."
On being the "third kid" in his family: "I'm the third kid, definitely. I'm kind of a big kid at heart. I'm a fun guy, I always want to take my daughter to theme parks and stuff like that."

Joey Fatone Talks Fatherhood
Mar 12, 2010 by CAROLYN ROBERTSON

Stepping out for the Brother Jimmy's Union Square opening in New York this week, former N'Sync'er Joey Fatone was happy to give an update on the newest addition to the family.
“She’s doing great. It’s crazy, she’s growing right before my eyes,” the proud papa tells In Touch of his daughter Kloey, who was born in January.
As for big sister Briahna, 9 this month, she's proving to be a huge help to her busy parents - "she will feed the baby, she will burp her, she will hold her," Joey reports. She draws the line at changing diapers, though. Smart girl!
Joey adds that he's getting used to living in a house full of girls, saying, “There are just two men in the house, me and the Doberman. That’s my boy!”
Joey Fatone Welcomes Second Daughter: Kloey Alexandra!
Jan 12, 2010 by JENNY SCHAFER

Joey Fatone and wife Kelly have welcome their second daughter, PEOPLE reports.
Kloey Alexandra Fatone was born on Monday (January 11) in Orlando, Florida, weighing in at 5 lbs., 8 oz. She joins 8 ½-year-old big sister Briahna (pictured above with mom and dad).
"Kloey's so small," the Dancing with the Stars alum says. "She looks like a little doll. But she's healthy and doing just fine."
It was a tough pregnancy for Kelly. Shortly after learning that she was pregnant, she began fighting chronic fatigue. "She was so tired, just exhausted all the time," the 'NSYNC singer says of his wife of five years. "We took her to the doctors, and they found blood clots in her lungs. It was life and death."
After 12 days in the hospital – including 2 days in the ICU – doctors diagnosed Kelly with a rare genetic condition called Methylene-Tetra-Hydro-Folate-Reductase (MTHFR). While MTHFR puts the mother's life at risk, the condition also increases the chances of the baby being born with chromosomal defects such as Down's Syndrome.
