Celebrities Who Chose Natural Vs. C-Section Births
| Apr 16, 2010 by JENNY SCHAFER |

Reports say that 80% of American women get some form of medical pain relief during childbirth. A growing number of women are requesting delivery by elective cesarean section. This trend is due in part to celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Eilzabeth Hurley, Britney Spears, Claudia Schiffer and Christina Aguilera, making the elective C-section the "it" activity of the decade.
The media has dubbed the movement "too posh to push," after Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz's Spice Girl mama. The British beauty, like some of the other celeb mamas in question, claimed that her C-sections were under doctors’ orders.
But were they simply trying to avoid abdominal stretching? Or the pain of natural childbirth?
Click below to see who went natural vs. the elective C-section.
Catherine McCord & Her Million Baby Crawl Cutie

Meet Chloe Gordon! Proud mama Catherine McCord - actress and Calvin Klein model - planted a kiss on her adorable 8-month-old daughter at the the launch of Seventh Generation’s Million Baby Crawl, a national campaign led by famed environmental activist Erin Brockovich to "rattle" congress about the need to overhaul the country's outdated toxic chemical laws.
Other eco-friendly celebs such as Amy Smart, Kellie Martin and Anna Getty came out to support this great cause. Check out the pics below of Erin and Kellie speaking at the event which was held at Soleil Moon Frye's boutique, The Little Seed, on Saturday (October 24).
Kellie Martin & Maggie Say Cheese

So sweet! Kellie Martin was photographed with her husband Keith Christian and their adorable 3-year-old daughter Margaret 'Maggie' Heather at the March of Dimes 4th annual Celebration of Babies at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday (November 7). Maggie's middle name honors Kellie's sister Heather, who died due to lupus erythematosus at age 19.
Kellie is best known for her roles as Rebecca Thatcher on Life Goes On, Christy Huddleston in Christy, and as Lucy Knight on ER.
'Green' Celebrity Babies
| Nov 30, 2007 by LISA WEBER |

Kelly Martin, 32, mom to 1 year old Maggie, makes her own baby food. "I try to cook everything myself, that way I don't throw away any containers and I know exactly what she eats." Which is 100% organic food, whole grains and "absolutely no sugar."
What does Maggie like the best? Pureed sweet potatoes and pear oatmeal muffins. To make the baby food Martin steams organic vegetables, purees them, and freezes them in ice cube trays.
Sounds so easy and healthy! I have to admit, I bought the pre-made baby food-more out of convenience.
