Hollywood leading ladies Jenna Elfman, Kelly Preston and Laila Ali came together last weekend to empower moms and moms-to-be to raise healthy babies. The first ever celebrity breastfeeding and toxin-free living event was held at Elfman's home in Los Angeles to benefit not-for-profit organizations Best for Babes and Healthy Child Healthy World. The event was sponsored by Leading Lady nursing intimates and Ameda breast pumps and coordinated by celebrity event planner Marley Majcher, The Party Goddess.
"I love nothing more than being a mom, and as a moms we are fiercely protective of our kids," Preston tells Celebrity Baby Scoop. "I know I would do anything to ensure the health of my children. That started from day one, twenty years ago, with that first connection I had with my son the first time I breast fed him," she shares of her bond with late son Jett.

Professional boxer Laila Ali - daughter of famed boxing icon Muhammad Ali - was spotted making a quick stop - and telephone call - at Gelson's Market today (February 9) with her 10-month-old daughter Sydney in Woodland Hills, Calif.
Little Sydney - who turns one on April 4th - caught a ride with mom in a baby carrier as the pretty pair made their way across the parking lot.

Actress Nicole Sullivan got into the Christmas spirit with her family — husband Jason Packham and sons Dash, 4½, and Beckett, 2 — on Saturday (December 17) for Jayneoni Moore’s Third Annual Holiday Children’s Wrapping Party in Century City, Calif.
Mom-of-two Laila Ali also pitched in and wrapped gifts for kids in the Los Angeles foster care system, as well as residents of the Jenesse Center, Inc, L.A.’s oldest shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence situations.

At a recent New York Fashion Week event, NY Daily News caught up with Dancing with the Stars alum Laila Ali. The former boxer - who is mom to son CJ, 3, and daughter Sydney, 5 months - was hosting expectant moms at a Destination Maternity celebration in conjunction with the March of Dimes.
On having 2 young kids, 3 step-children and being a working mom: "It's hard. It's a lot of work and you have to make a lot of sacrifices, but for me it's just priorities being in order and for me that's my kids come first and everything else works around them. I'm very hands-on with my kids. I don't just want to have a nanny taking care of my children, so of course, you know, I lose a lot of sleep. But it is what is. You know, I feel like as a mom that's what you have to do. You have to wear lots of hats and you have to make sacrifices."

Laila Ali and her husband Curtis Conway were spotted taking their children Sydney and Curtis Jr. to Calabasas Commons on Sunday (July 17).
Sydney, 3 months, was snuggled up close to mom in her infant carrier. Curtis Jr., almost 3, held his parents' hands while looking curiously at the cameras. The family grabbed lunch at a local eatery and did a little casual shopping.
