Actress Salma Hayek and her 4-year-old daughter Valentina were snapped while on their way to catch a flight out of LAX in Los Angeles, California last week (May 11). The always adorable pair tried to keep a low profile as they headed into the busy airport.
Salma's husband François-Henri Pinault recently reached a child support agreement with supermodel Linda Evangelista, with whom he has 5-year-old son Augustin. The details of the settlement have not been revealed, but the model mom was asking for a whopping $46,000 in monthly support.

After the birth of her daughter Valentina in 2007, Salma Hayek was so happily immersed in motherhood that she considered giving up her day job all together. It was her husband François-Henri Pinault, she tells Marie Claire, who convinced her otherwise.
"I think if you are young and you have children, you still have so much to prove. When you have children later in life, you lose a bit of that urge for working," Salma, 45, explains. "At the time, I was thinking, I can do another movie that may or may not work, or I can be with my child, nourish her, and not miss a moment of this precious time. And if my career is going to end in two years, what's the difference, anyway?"

From playing Kitty Softpaws in the animated flick Puss in Boots to being a busy mom to an adorable 3-year-old daughter, Salma Hayek is no stranger to working hard. The actress recently sat down with modernmom.com and opened up about sharing her work with Valentina, her mommy-daughter activities and balancing work with motherhood.
On allowing Valentina to watch Puss in Boots: "I did a movie that I love as a grown up. It’s a family movie but I do have to monitor and censor - 'You can only watch parts of it that are really funny...' and I let her watch some parts, but I have to be really careful.
Even watching television, she’s going on three and she wants to watch all these teen movies. She has seen great stuff but all I find is that she’s got the attitude and imitating the way they talk. So, even some stuff that seems that you’ve censored it still makes them want grow up faster, and so I have to really watch that, not to mention the radio. And you never really understand what that is, because everything changes when you have a child. So I’m very proud of this film. Very, very funny, it’s quite sophisticated. There’s a lot of adventure - I am proud for her to watch."
