Jillian Michaels Is Getting Closer To Becoming A Mom!
| Dec 27, 2011 by SHAYLA PERRY |

It's been a long wait, but former Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels is getting closer and closer to realizing her dream of becoming a mother as the adoption process moves forward.
"I've been matched with a little girl," the fitness guru recently revealed to Access Hollywood. "But, I now have to get her home... It could take up to a year to get her home."
Michaels, 37, says that she met the girl she is hoping to adopt on a trip to Haiti.
"I went over to visit orphanages and I ended up falling in love with this little girl, and by the grace of God, I got matched up with her," Jillian explains. "So now, it's just a matter of trying to get her home and anything can happen and fall through or fall apart, so it's kind of premature for me to say it, but that's where it's at.
"So if it falls apart, you'll know why I'm like devastated and not coming out of my house for months," she adds.
Having turned to adoption after years of suffering from endometriosis, Michaels has said that the international adoption process is "a full-time job."
"I don't want to tell people not to adopt internationally -- but I've learned that you've got to have tremendous patience and financial resources because it's going to cost a lot of money," said Jillian. "If you don't have those two things, go domestic."

That must be tough waiting for her baby to get here, and hoping it all goes according to plan. Adoption is tough, that's for sure.
