Sarah Jessica Parker glowed in yellow at the Sex And The City 2 premiere in New York City last night (May 24). The 45-year-old mother of three opened up to Parade about her family – including hubby Matthew Broderick, 7 1/2-year-old son James Wilke, and 11-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha – and how she keeps connected with her friends.
On her favorite thing to do: “I love just being with my family — going to the grocery store, cooking dinner, putting my twins to bed, changing their diapers, getting my older son ready for school and packing his lunch. Staying home with my family and my husband is the thing I love most in the world. Is it sexy? I don’t know about that, but it sure is fun and it’s definitely unpredictable.”
On making time for friends: “You can be a good friend even when you barely have time. Make the effort to send a note, or call and say, ‘I’ve got children screaming in the background, but I miss you and I love you and I think about you. You’re on my mind, even if I don’t get to tell you every day.’ I think your real friends understand that there’s lots of responsibilities you have with your family, but you just figure out how to nurture your friendships any way you can.”

Tom Cruise flashes his famous smile on Esquire‘s June/July ‘How To Be A Man’ issue. The 47-year-old father of three opens up about coming to terms with his absentee father, the moment he became a father, and his sweet daughter Suri.
On his father: “I remember looking at my dad and wanting to understand him. I didn’t want to just write the guy off. He was lost. He was overwhelmed by life … My mother basically did all the work, and then they got separated and I didn’t see him for a long time. He didn’t try to help the family financially or spiritually, and I lived with the effects of the chaos.”
On becoming a father: “I’ll never forget the moment I became a dad. But it’s hard to describe — that level of responsibility, the desire to give such joy. The clarity: Nothing is more important than this. I remember that first night, just staring at Bella. I was checking her every second, just looking at her, feeling that immediate bond. I was probably looking at her so much that I was keeping her up.
On Suri: “It’s come full circle. Now I’ll put Suri on a swing and tell her stories when I’m working on a script. I’ll start with the beginning of the movie and take her through the story beat by beat. Of course, I make it age-appropriate. She’s four years old. But she asks all the right questions: Why does that happen? Those are the bad guys? You’re the good guy, right?”

Paul Gray, the 38-year-old bassist for Grammy-winning metal band Slipknot, was found dead Monday (May 24) in an Iowa hotel room with no indication of foul play, Today reports.
Making the story even more tragic, Gray and his wife Brenna were expecting their first child this September. According to her GodsGirls profile, Brenna wrote on May 4th that it’s a girl.
So I’m having a daughter.. pretty stoked Were naming her October Dedrick. I figured id let everyone know since i get a ton of messages asking if i knew what we were having yet.. We found out about 3 weeks ago!”
Known for its masks, trashing sound and aggressive, dark lyrics, Slipknot released its self-titled debut in 1999 which sold 2 million copies. Most of the band’s members grew up in the Des Moines area.
Our deepest condolences go out to the Gray family.
