Matthew Settle Is Struggling With Divorce

It has been two months since news broke of Matthew Settle and wife Naama Nativ’s split, and the Gossip Girl dad is experiencing the lingering emotional pain that comes with it. The actor revealed to People how he is coping, saying, “I’m not enjoying it … it’s tough.”

Settle, who recently shared the small things he misses most about his family life, adds that he is unsure of the custody situation with 1-year-old daughter Aven. He revealed, “Until the divorce is over, it’s tough to know how much time I’m going to spend with [1-year-old daughter] Aven and how the chips are going to fall. So I hope for the best.”

Like many divorced couples with children, Settle says that he and Nativ plan to do what’s best for their daughter, adding, “I think that we’ll be good co-parents. And we’ll do the best we can.”

Settle, 40, and Israel-born actress/model Nativ, 26, eloped in a small ceremony in 2006.

Ellen Pompeo’s Relaxed Home

First-time mom Ellen Pompeo seems to radiate serenity these days. The Grey’s Anatomy star welcomed daughter, Stella Luna, with husband Chris Ivery in September, and to complete their new life with baby, the couple purchased a fab 1920’s Spanish-style home! In an interview with Elle Decor, Pompeo spoke about the family feel of her new home, saying,

This house is perfect for our family. It’s all about swimming, eating, and hanging out with friends. Martyn [interior designer] jokes that we live like college kids—people are coming and going all the time. What can I say? It’s a happy place.

The 40-year-old actress recently revealed her hopes for her daughter, saying, “I hope Stella has more self-confidence than I did as a child. Because when you believe in yourself and have a strong sense of self-worth, you don’t look for validation from others.”

Pompeo and Ivery have been married since 2007.

Christina Aguilera: I’m “More Sexual” As A Mother

Christina Aguilera says she feels sexier since welcoming son Max in January 2008, Us reports.

I’m more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I think I’m even a more sexual Christina,” the singer, who wed husband Jordan Bratman four years ago, said.

“That’s part of the change of having a child for me — seeing your body do these things you never thought possible,” adds Aguilera, whose new album Bionic hits the shelves on June 8. “When you have a baby, you go through a period where your body is not your own. It becomes for your child and that’s it. Once you bounce back from that and kind of get your body back… I feel better than ever. It’s a great feeling.”

Michael Douglas’ Son Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison

Michael Douglas‘ son Cameron Douglas was sentenced to five years in prison for his role in dealing methamphetamine and cocaine in New York City, TMZ reports.

Cameron was accompanied by his father and his mother Diandra in federal court in Manhattan today (April 20). The 31-year-old actor was facing 10 or more years in prison.

The judge said it was Cameron’s “last chance to make it.” The troubled young adult was also ordered to pay $25,000 in fines and serve 450 hours of community service. Once he is out of prison, Cameron is also required to spend an additional 5 years in a supervised release program.

Many friends and family members wrote letters to the judge in Cameron’s defense. Michael wrote a personal plea, asking the judge to consider the family’s long history of drug abuse. He added that Cameron’s childhood was influenced by a “bad marriage” and “the pressure of finding [his] own identity with a famous father.”

“He is an adult and responsible for his own actions,” Michael said, but added that “genes, family and peer pressure” also contributed to his son’s substance abuse problems, which led to his involvement in drug-dealing.

Kerry Katona & Her Shopgirls

Kerry Katona was spotted leaving her Brighton Hotel to go shopping with her two daughters – Molly, 8, and Lilly-Sue, 7 – on Tuesday (April 20). The girls’ dad is Kerry’s ex-husband, former Westlife member Brian McFadden.

Kerry, 29, and Brian, 30, are currently in a public feud. The former Atomic Kitten singer recently claimed that he doesn’t keep in touch with the girls:

He phones the girls about five times a year but Lilly doesn’t really know who he is. I’ve never told them what really happened.”

In a series of misspelled Twitter posts, which he later deleted, McFadden suggested Katona “take bowl of mayonaise drenched chips out of your face and look in the mirror!” He added, “a certainj pig faced mole has suggested my own daughter lilly doesn’t know me and that i never speak to my kids..FACT I call my girls at least twice a week and have a beautiful relationship with my daughters…'”

Kerry also has two children with estranged husband Mark Croft: Heidi, 3, and Max, 2.
