Newly separated couple, Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes, put on a united front in New York City this morning (April 6) with their 6-year-old son Joe and Kate’s 9-year-old daughter Mia from a former marriage. The family of four looked happy and Joe even waved at the nearby paparazzi!
The couple announced their split in mid-March after six years of marriage. Their lawyers said: “Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year. The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children. They ask that the media respect the privacy of the family.”
Spider-Man star Bryce Dallas Howard and her 3-year-old son Theo were among the famous party-goers at Ron Meyer’s Easter party in Malibu, California this weekend (April 4). Tobey Maguire, Sara Gilbert, the Stefani-Rossdale clan and others were all spotted making their way to the star-studded event.
Earlier this year the 29-year-old actress revealed her struggle with postpartum depression following the birth of her son:
It’s brutal. I’m a total optimist and it was shocking to face that; I didn’t expect that at all. At first I called it postpartum denial because you’re like, ‘I just feel like a zombie,’ and then it gets worse and worse.”

An expectant Bethenny Frankel rocked a bikini at the beach with new husband Jason Hoppy in St. Barths, France on Saturday (April 3). Jason lovingly patted Bethenny’s baby bump as the honeymooners frolicked in the water.
The happy couple just tied the knot at the Four Seasons in NYC on Sunday, March 28. The 39-year-old reality TV star recently gushed about their wedding.
It’s so cliché, but it was the best night of my life! It was just like Jason and me — sentimental, fun, absurd at times. I didn’t know it was possible to be this happy.”

The martial arts seem to be all the rage these days, and this summer the pastime will get even hotter. Coming this June, the remake of the 80’s teen hit Karate Kid will be hitting screens everywhere. Starring in the flick will be Tinseltown royalty Jaden Smith, the talented son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. But he’s not the only child of superstars who is a modern day Karate Kid. Here are a slew of other children of Hollywood who are practicing the martial arts, off screen that is.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony took their 2-year-old twins – Emme Maribel and Maximilian “Max” David – to J.Lo’s parent’s home in Pasadena, Calif. on Sunday (April 4). Looks like Jenny from the block whipped up a potluck item for the soiree. Marc carried their sleepy daughter into the house, while a family member toted Max into the party.
After the twins woke up from their car ride, they enjoyed a fun Easter egg hunt at grandma and grandpa’s house.
Having been absent from the big screen since 2006, Jennifer, 40, is ready for a comeback. Her romantic comedy, The Back-Up Plan, hits theaters next month and new album, Love, is expected this summer.
