Academy Award nominated actress Vera Farmiga, 39, and husband Renn Hawkey prepared to depart LAX on Wednesday (March 10) with their sleepy son Fynn, 13 ½-months.
During their security check, Renn helped his wife to remove her shoes to keep from waking their tired little boy.
Vera, who returned to work to film Up In The Air just two weeks after the arrival of her son, recently opened up about the pressure she felt from the studio during her pregnancy:
We met when I was four months pregnant, six months pregnant, eight months pregnant. The studio was panicking. I felt that. And it destroyed me. I wanted to walk away from this career. I felt incredibly insecure.
Fynn is the first child for Vera and Renn who were married in September 2008.

Melanie Brown and her daughter Phoenix, who turns 11 next Friday, were photographed at the opening night of CATS in Hollywood on Tuesday (March 9). The mother-daughter pair rocked their half-shaved ‘dos, similar to little Angel‘s, on the red carpet.
Phoenix’s father is Mel’s ex-husband, Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
The 34-year-old mother of two recently said she and hubby Stephen Belafonte would like to add to their family soon:
We definitely want to have kids at some point in 2010 or the beginning of 2011, because this year’s going to be pretty busy. Stephen has twins in his family and I would love to have twins. I think there’s something nice about having two babies, and they’re there for each other their whole entire life. That would be ideal for me. But just one healthy baby would be more than fine. That’s all you can wish for.”

Not only does dad Bruce Willis encourage his daughter to follow in his footsteps, but mom Demi Moore also has some tricks of the trade to share with their eldest daughter.
The 47-year-old Striptease star and her 21-year-old daughter Rumer put on quite a show at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 27. “There was a pole at the bash, and Demi thought it would be fun to show everyone she still has what it takes,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “Demi even spun around the pole upside down. It was incredible.”
Then it was Rumer’s turn on the pole, as stepdad Ashton Kutcher and A-listers such as Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio looked on. “It was strange, but Demi encouraged Rumer to join her,” says the partygoer. “Everyone was cheering, and Leo gave Ashton a high-five. Ashton put his arms around both Demi and Rumer and looked like the proudest man in the room.”
