Rachel Weisz: The Experience Of Being A Mother Is “Impossible To Imagine”

Though Rachel Weisz has taken on many different roles throughout her Hollywood career, it wasn’t until she became a mother that she realized just how different acting can be from reality.

“I’ve placed myself in many hypothetical situations through acting, but motherhood is real life,” she tells Reader’s Digest. “It’s an experience that can’t be transferred. I can get a general idea of some things — losing a child, for instance. But being an actual mother? No, that’s impossible to imagine.”

The 39-year-old actress, who has one son, Henry Chance, 3 ½, with fiancé Darren Aronofsky, says that the only true way to understand the mother-child bond is to live it:

It is one of the very few unimaginable experiences that you have to live to fully understand.

Mark & Michael Wahlberg: Park Play

Doting dad-of-four Mark Wahlberg enjoyed some one-on-one time at the park with his oldest son Michael, 3, in Los Angeles, California today (January 15).

The star of The Lovely Bones and his wife Rhea Durham welcomed their daughter Grace Margaret just last week, but he says their family may not be complete just yet.

My wife has always wanted four, two boys and two girls, so miraculously she got everything she wanted. She’s saying she’s done. She loves being a mother, so she may end up wanting one more. We’ll see what happens.”

Angelina Jolie was spotted out with two of her daughters – Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 3 1/2 – at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Saturday (January 16). Shiloh appeared to be covering her face from the paps in her hat and tie ensemble as Zaraha happily skipped alongside the duo in black high-heeled boots.

We just saw Angie and the girls, along with big brothers Maddox, 8, and Pax, 6, at the Apple store in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old Lara Croft star and her longtime partner, Brad Pitt, recently donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders for the organization’s emergency medical operations in Haiti. Brad and Angie are also parents to 1-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Tom Brady Keeps Family & Football Separate

Quarterback dad Tom Brady insists that his family life has no impact on his performance on the field.

In response to critics’ claims that he seems “distracted” this year, the New England Patriots star says, “That’s not something I’ve thought much about … That my performance as a football player is going to go down because I got married or I had children.”

Tom, 32, and his new bride Gisele Bündchen welcomed their son Benjamin last month. He’s also dad to 2-year-old son Jack from a previous relationship.

“It’s funny for me – there’s not a lot of things going on in my life other than my career and my family. I think my life is very focused,” he says, adding, “I prioritized with the things that are important to me. That’s my family and my football career. There’s nothing other than that.”
