Actor Michael Douglas admits he made some mistakes as a dad to his now 31-year-old son Cameron, but he seems intent on doing it right now that he’s got a second chance at fatherhood.
Michael, who has kids Dylan, 9, and Carys, 6, with his wife Catherine Zeta Jones, opens up about the joys and struggles of family life in a new interview with AARP magazine.
The 65-year-old Oscar-winner finds great joy in raising his children – “I love to be the first face they see [in the morning],” he says – but that wasn’t always the case.

While celebrating longtime makeup artist Scott Barnes’ new book About Face last night, Jennifer Lopez couldn’t resist talking about her twins Max and Emme, 2 next month, who apparently enjoy playing with makeup.
Oh, my God, does she play with the makeup,” Lopez joked to People. “Both of them do. Max too. They like to paint themselves and you.”
Lopez also hinted that if she were to appear on Glee “up against so many high schoolers,” she’d bring Barnes along to wield his toolbox on the set. “That’s Uncle Scott,” she says. “It’s just like when you go to an office and you have all the same people every day. The hair, the makeup, stylist, the manager. They become like your family. My manager is the godfather to my children.”
“Uncle” Scott couldn’t resist gushing about his honorary niece and nephew.
Emme’s just like Jennifer, she’s really refined and she loves jewelry. She has a little bracelet and she always turns it and looks at it.” Barnes continues: “Max is all boy. And she’s such a girl. She’s says, ‘Look at my shoes!’ She shows you her shoes. He wants to play, he wants to rough house and she’s like, let me sit here and look at my dress. And I say, ‘Your dress is beautiful!’ And she says, ‘Beautiful.’”

Destin Pfaff and fiancée, Rachel Federoff of Patti Stanger’s Millionaire’s Club are introducing their 5-month-old son, Sin Halo Jude. According to proud papa, Sin seems fated for camera time on The Millionaire Matchmaker. “Every time the baby sees Patti, he shrieks like a banshee,” Destin tells Life & Style. “She’s great with him. Sin makes her want a baby.”
Rachel, 32, and Destin, 35, opened up about Sin’s health problems. He was delivered via emergency cesarean section after the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and stopped his heart. After surviving this, Sin suffered from digestive problems. “It was scary and hard, but we were lucky,” says Destin. “Now he’s tough as nails — beautiful and perfect!”
And what about his unusual name?
My parents hate the name Sin Halo,” Rachel says. “But it’s the yin and the yang — everybody has a little good and bad in them.”
What do you think of the name Sin Halo?
