– Born in Swakopmund, Namibia, via a scheduled caesarean section and has a Namibian passport

“She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing. So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want …’ – ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff that’s cute to parents, and it’s probably really obnoxious to other people.”

  1. Maybe, just MAYBE, this once, you could lay your grievances with the Shiloh’s haircut and clothing choices aside (might I just remind you that she’s only four years’ old and you are all presumably grown women, who should be well beyond criticism of a little girl’s appearance!) and wish her a happy birthday! Is that too much to ask?
And feli, to say that she “used to be beautiful” before she got her hair cut, is disgustingly superficial. She is still the same girl with the same gorgeous, bright smile, and she certainly isn’t ugly just because her hair is shorter now. Some people…

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHILOH JOLIE-PITT! She´ll be 4 years old today. Like Sophia said people should forget these superficial things aside and accept the fact that Shiloh still is this really beautiful little GIRL with a beautiful little smile that melts the ice. Her parents sure aren´t forcing her to wear what she doesn´t want to wear. And if she doesn´t like to wear girly clothes so be it. She still is a stunner. Shiloh sure knows full well that she is a girl and doesn´t lett all those horrible people affect her clothing style. This beautiful little girl will most certainly find her feminine side with girly clothes again and show the whole world that the haters were wrong. Have a happy b-day, little angel Shi and don´t let anyone put you down! Go girl!

    • A stunner? I think that is a bit much. I wouldn’t even go close to that word in regards to her looks. I don’t care how she dresses. Her hair cut does not suit her at all. However, that is her parents choice. She is not my child and I am not judging her based on her hair. I am merely giving my opinion just as you are. Be respectful.

  3. she is adorable and brad and angie seem like awesome parents am sure she will have lots of fun with her siblings

  4. Oh yeah she really looks miserable in that pic .GMAB. I forgot its more important to look “pretty” than to be happy. I guess its more important to look good than feel good. Happy bday Shiloh continue to find joy in the things that interest you , continue to be unique. You are loved by your family for who you are not the length of your hair.

  5. A happy healthy child is all any parent could wish for. This child is obviously well loved and happy. Happy Birthday, Shiloh!!

  6. I totally agree with mslewis. This little girl is well loved and taken care of by her loving parents. So what if she wears boyish clothes right now. She obviously adores her older brothers a lot but that certainly will pass in time. She´ll naturally love her big brothers always but at some point she´ll start to think that they´re boring. LOL. Her big sis sure will certainly love to give her some fashion tips when Shi finds her girly side again. We don´t know it but I´m sure that from time to time she gets bored with that tomboy look already and dresses up as a princess when she and her sisters play together. She is a beautiful little girl and will be a stunner when she grows up. Just like her sisters will also be beauties. Leave this little girl alone! The main thing is that she´s healthy and happy.

  7. Maybe she’s gay and that’s just it. I’ve seen it before. Maybe she doesn’t feel she’s a girl, and feels more likely a boy.

  8. I hope this kid isn’t going through an identity crisis. Some people would say that’s ok if she is, but if so that would be really horrible. I think that even at such a young age, she probably is a boy in her little mind, and very sad if she insists that;s what she is. At 4 yrs. old she looks like a little lesbian,..too bad, what a shame. I hope this is just a phase for her and that she grows out of it and becomes a girl that she is!

  9. Shiloh is a gorgeous, happy child. She clearly has parents that love her and always have her best interests in mind. Let go of your biases and let her be the beautiful child that she is. Happy Birthday, you special girl.

  10. Sometimes the mother has trouble dealing with a same-sex child being beautiful. Just saying…..a little jealousy perhaps? Extreme nature of boys’ clothing seems odd to say the least. Dress her in a top and pants….good enough. Boy’s shoes, boots, hat, who does that? Do you know anyone who dresses their little girl like that? Can’t wait to see how she dresses Vivienne.

  11. I hate that her parents dress her like a boy, as opposed to encouraging and her directing her into the direction of the sex she was born into. She looks horrible in this picture, she was so beautiful, and now she looks like an ugly boy atleast in this particular photo. Her parents can only hope this isn’t carried out too much longer, that it’s only a faze.

  12. You all need to stop with the beautiful and get real that baby should not be dressing and looking like a boy at the tender age that she is, this is ridiculous and sad, let her decide to look like a boy when she gets older but this is a shame. She wants to be a pirate and play with dead birds come on what the hell is going on here and sorry she is not that cute Zahara is on the other hand deal with that
