Katie Holmes & Suri: Christmas Train Ride

Dawson’s Creek alum Katie Holmes was spotted with her 4-year-old daughter Suri lining up for a Christmas train ride at Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada on Thursday night (December 16).

The mother-daughter duo rode the festive train together and had fun meeting a snowman and Santa Claus. After their fun outing, the pair stopped by a local burger joint to get a quick bite to eat.

We just saw Katie and Suri earlier this week on the set of her new film Jack and Jill where Suri was sporting footed pajamas.

The twosome are visiting papa Tom Cruise who is currently in Canada shooting his latest big screen adventure, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

    • I was thinking the same thing. It’s like… every possible thing that could happen to make a regular person look like Skeletor has happened. Lighting, her angles, camera angle, outfit choice, time of day, facial expression, probably actually being tired, etc.

  1. If they don’t believing god and what nothing to do with any other religion but Scientology why is she taking Suri to do Christmas thing like going to see Santa Claus?

      • I don’t recall seeing that in the New testament either. Maybe St. Nick/Santa Claus was the unmentioned 4th Magi or something. Gift-giving is his line of work after all.

    • I believe what Anonymous meant was why are they celebrating Christmas at all. Not visiting Santa. If they don’t believe in God, why are they celebrating a holidays that is really about the birth of Jesus?

That is what Anonymous most likely meant. It’s pretty obvious. Jeeze.

        • The majority of Scientologists (at least those really involved in the “religion”) do not believe believe in a specific God and do not relate to a “god” figure. Therefore, it’s reasonable to believe that Katie does not believe in God.

          • i’m pretty sure katie went to catholic school. she may be going along with scientology for her husband’s sake but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t believe in god. not saying the fact that she was raised catholic means she believes in god either, but we don’t know what her beliefs are.

      • I equate Santa Claus with the retail/commercial side of Christmas rather than the religious/spiritual side, so Katie taking her child to see Santa isn’t a big “WTF?!” moment for me. It’s not like she took Suri to see a Nativity play at church; THEN I’d understand why people would be puzzled..

      • Plenty of non-Christians (myself included) celebrate a secular version of Christmas. I don’t see what is strange about this.

  2. Nice to see Suri wearing a coat (it’s very cute btw) but where are her leggings or pants? Maybe she is allergic to tights. Katie has her legs well covered she is wearing not only jeans but boots as well. Yet poor Suri is wearing a thin party dress and nothing on her legs. The blanket only works when in use. Isn’t it cold in Vancouver?

  3. Suri SOOOO has Tom’s nose. She is not going to age well though she is cute enough now. Katie and Tom HAVE to be broken up. They are never together. You get teh feeling Tom couldn’t care less about her.
