Holly Robinson Peete’s Winning Image

Mom of four Holly Robinson Peete sparkled as she walked the red carpet at the 42nd NAACP Image Awards yesterday (March 4) in Los Angeles.

Peete, who co-hosted the event, took home the award for ‘Outstanding Literary Work’ for her children’s book, My Brother Charlie, which she wrote with her 13-year-old daughter, Ryan.

My Brother Charlie is a story written from the perspective of a young girl named Callie whose twin brother, Charlie, is autistic.

The book was inspired by Ryan’s relationship with her twin brother, RJ, who was diagnosed with autism at age 3.

  1. The hair on the daughter makes her look really old- I thought it was Holly’s older sister or aunt or even mom when I first saw the pic. Her daughter’s a beautiful girl, but this is NOT a flattering pic, lol…

    • lioness: Yo dont know what you’re talking about. Ryan is wearing her hair like most AfrAm teen girls her age do. They wrap they hair and sleep. In the morning the hair has a curly & sha[ped pattern.

Both Holly and ryan look great.
