Selma Blair: Being A Working Mom Is A “Challenge”

Cruel Intentions actress, Selma Blair, was enjoying a leisurely stroll with her 7-month old baby boy, Arthur, on Wednesday (March 21) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The first-time mom is back to work ready to begin filming on the much anticipated new sitcom Anger Management starring Charlie Sheen. She’s finding that getting back to work is not as easy as some other celebs make it out to be.

“I’m seriously sleep-deprived; I can barely put a word together,” she explains. “I’m definitely struggling right now, like so many mums who are trying to be as close to their child as they can and get back to work.”

The show set is quite noisy and hectic. Little Arthur – whose father is fashion designer, Jason Bleick – is expected to only visit his mom rather than staying in her trailer as she delivers her lines. She will continue to breastfeed the babe for the time being.

“It’s a real challenge,” she admits. “I have to figure out how to juggle it.”

  1. That’s because she’s a real mom. Not a diva that has nannies doing everything for her. You can tell the good ones by how exhausted they are yet their babies are happy and healthy and glowing.

      • Yep. Being a good parent is exhausting. That’s usually how to tell you are doing a good job. What? Do you feel vibrant and rested and mentally at zen? How blessed you must be.
